Ngl, when i saw the thumbnail i was like "wait, MacDowin is reviewing Resident Evil figures? i gotta see this" and when as i checked i did saw these figures aren't like official but it is still impressive to see how they managed to make a 1:18 scale figure of the blue shirt female, aka Jill Valentine who is def's my favorite Resident Evil lady i can tell you that, like yeah the articulation could be better but damn these are impressive, funny enough when i saw the brown shirt female or Claire Redfield, i thought she was Lara Croft and i was like "aw man, that would had been amazing" I did noticed the white shirt female looked familiar, until noticing the helmet piece, i then figured out it's meant to be the PlayerUnknown's BattleGround default character, so it's likely that.
I also bought this full set mainly because, well = Lara croft, Claire Redfield & Jill Valentine (from left to right) ..... very nice and worth the spend. Articulation is not quite Joy Toy, but the articulation is fine. The swappable hair pieces fit well nd allow for good customisation.
good review, original stuff, cool comparisons but, can we swap heads with joes, indy, legends? like others, I def get a res evil - lara croft vibe here which is a gooood thing! but, also, they make great buystanders or victims in a scene, also, with the guns, could be action support I have Indy and Elsa, mixing lara with them would be a blast funny guys can mix the Cobra zombie miners with res evil looking characters, perfect. legends heroes get new girlfriends, or Goblin takes on a hostage on his flying bat accessories make them able to wield axes, chainsaws... yeah, neutral figures are a good + for any line and they re inspired, and can grab tools - weapons, change appearance, a win. good show bro
I am going to work up a better customizing video as soon as I get a few more pieces. They won't work with Legends as these are 4 inches and not 6. Appreciate the comment.
@@MacDowin Rather pointless too, like what are you supposed to do with it? lol. I think if anything, it's more a nod to the game and an Easter egg for anyone who can relate to it.
I don't know for sure, but I choose not to so as not to accidently trigger something from RUclips. I think I am skirting the edge already by naming some of the accessories that come with action figures.

Type writer is ikon for saving game in resevil games.
Kinda nervous about the joints deteriorating over time. Had that problem with the first few Joy Toy figures.

They're inspired by a PUBG character, and Claire and Jill from Resident Evil, but you could definitely make a custom Lara using their parts

I can tell you never played resident evil lol. The typewriter is used as a save point in the games
