Perfect for crafts men and semi profis. You show high quality professional tools - better than average house hold needs, if no whole home reconstructing is required.
I just remembered--I have a brand new DeWalt bit set. I need to throw it across the driveway a few times to get it scuffed & dirty so no one judges my pristine tools😂
Just a tip between 2 DIY’ers… You made mention that you are going to remove a couple different tools because you had one already. That would be true if you had an 11/16” socket that you hardly ever used! But, if that was a 10 mm socket, it would be good to have both of them in your bag 😁 I think that goes without the need of explanation 🤣 But a magnet stick, and a knife… There are 2 adages/sayings in the DIY and EDC community: 1) It is better to have something and not need it, than, need it and not have it! 😞 And # 2) always remember, for that one important item: 1 is NONE - 2 is one!!!
I love it when you show the prying tools/bars, which are really forcible entry tools, and then say "its nice to have this tool I use it quite often and then say i used it quite a lot" Not saying anything just that it was funny.
Was surprised when the Fluke multimeter came out tbh. If you like nice tools that professionals use I would also highly recommend looking out for Knipex for pliers, side cutters, pipe wrenches etc and Wera for screwdrivers and impact driver bits.
Nice little assortment for a wide range of diy tasks. I was a little confused with some of your nomenclature for a few tools you showed. Your fluke multimeter (not multi tool) has test leads (not prongs). Your DeWalt ratchet kit has a set of sockets (not wrenches). That aside, this was a great toolkit tour and I appreciate the time and attention you've put into showing what you carry.
& the ratchet set u showed at 4:29 (I think or 449) has a multi bit screwdriver in that set + the bits.. but I'd still keep the2 longest of each flat & Phillips head.. that way no matter how long of 1 u need, u good. Those other 4 jus takin up space
Yes it is often one will come in a pick tool set that's I think why some people call it that possibly and yes I've heard plenty of people call it that also that might have stemmed from the old school ice-pick possibly? Edit here yum there is a difference between the oil in a pic but one can be used interchangeably at times but there is a difference. Different tool different intended application. But very similar but at the same time different!
Nice setup! I just have a military style bag say 13" x 6" or so for around the house quick fixes. If I need anything else, my main tool boxes are not far away.
I keep them clean. Also, unlike a professional, I do not use many of these tools too often as I'm simply a home owner who tackles projects every once in a while.
So if you can hit home depot and capture the diablo spade bits u can use them with the impact driver make boles fastet and release bjts quicker they were retail at 19.89 bucks with the inbetween sizes, also come out of the bole faster about 20 bits all told
I take care of them. But its true, I don't use them every day, but only when the need arises. My profession is computer programming/web development, that's what I spend my time doing most of each day.
Hi , thanks for this video. I just bought a 5 gallon buccket along with canvas organizer. And going to fill it up with tools. Do you think the brand name does metter?
I'm not a fan-boy to any specific brand.. however, if you are going to invest in some power tools.. I recommend picking and sticking with one brand since you will want to use the same batteries
Unfortunately there are no links to the tools in the second bag and the Bag itself. I have not found the Tactix bag on Amazon and it appears to no longer to be available in the Tactix web Site. It seems perfect for my two Bosch Drills each in its own compartment. Detail would be appreciated. Thanks
Awesome video! I learned a few tricks from your video. How much do both the organizers weigh with tools in them? I have gone through a whole bunch of tools organizers myself (bucket one, DeWalt backpacks.) Every time I have come out short on some missing tools, which I needed and they were missing from the bag. I install a lot of grab bars in bathrooms etc. I had to carry a 4' ruler separately for marking a long line. I also carry a separate box with screws and anchors because I go through a lot of them. Not knowing which anchors would I need, I carry many different sizes of anchors and screws, which makes the box heavy. I do have to make a few trips to my car to bring all the stuff inside. Any tips on improvement on my method, will be highly appreciated.
I agree, it's hard to ensure you have all the tools you need in one bag, and actually pretty much impossible. I have instead separated my tools by tasks: General tools, Plumbing, Electrical, Drywall/Painting.
Does anyone have a link to that DeWalt socket set and quarter inch hex driver screwdriver set don't think it's on Amazon I was looking and did not seem to find anything even remotely similar. Although I did find a ratchet set and a screwdriver set but didn't look similar both from DeWalt. Been looking for something that would have both for a long time if someone could give me a heads up on a link even if it's not Amazon or at least some other info where to get possibly anything would be helpful thanks I have time to anyone that replies

I agree, not all of these tools can be considered basic. But ever since I have owned my own home, I have needed all this stuff at least once. :/

Nice bags and range of tools, definitely a Dewalt fan!
Thanks :) ...much of the tools I have are definitely DeWalt!

:) thanks, I did get the names mixed up
Looks like you need a project to do. Nice rig.
Thanks!
And that roll of stuff u call plumbers tape is Teflon.. used in residential plumbing as well as auto mechanics use it quite often
👍 thanks for the insight
Those pliers are fencing pliers. The sides of them are used to cut chain link. Super awesome set of pliers for only a buck! Awesome set up!
Thanks

I agree, there is quite a bit of redundancy... But I would hate to separate a set like this
Great video love how you move from tool to tool
You're welcome!
Nice set up. Thanks
No problem 👍
Thanks for your instructional video, it's help me a lot. Greetings from Perú.
You're welcome
Nice video. That's an "awl" at 14:09. One of the few tools I recognize.
Nice, thanks :)
The “pick” is called and awl. Nice setup.
The straight one is an awl but the curved one can be called a pick
@@harleeb9061 that is true. An awl can be pushed as a pick but a pick an not an awl. Awl can be used for puncturing

But very similar but at the same time different!
You could also use the pick to chip ice for your soft drinks.🤣. Pick would be the correct word.
Nice :) thanks for the info!
This is the best video on the subject. Concise & straight to the point. I got quite a few items to check off my list. Thank you. 👍
Your welcome

@@ChrisAsipyan That was 3 years ago - I use a Carhartt leather tool bag now because it has side pockets and bigger.
@@mistermatsuda nice!
cool set. how did you manage that most of your tools look so unused?

That square is actually a steel worker square the round brass piece on the bottom pulls out and it's a scratch awl to mark steel with
Nice... Thanks for the insight
Fantastic content 👌 👏 👍
Thanks!
Looks like you don't use those tools alot they are all pretty clean

I keep my tools clean as well and don't use them on a daily basis but it's good to see organized tools and we'll taken care of tools .
Nothing wrong with that

For a guy only using tool 3 times a year it doesn't really matter, if it's how you make a living invest in quality
Crow's feet is a type of wrench would you thinking of is a pull bar or pry bar or crowbar depending who you ask

Yup got one of those too
Halligan bar

Replace the wd40 with 3 in 1.
I agree but having both is a plus.
@@Mokelso78 Very true. Variety is good.
Also a small tube of silicone grease for rubber seals and plastic moving parts and graphite powder to dry lube locks etc.
Thank you for the suggestion!
What is price of these 2bags in India rupees
1 US Dollar = 74.22 Indian Rupee currently. After finding the bags at your local store or online use that conversion rate to get your answer.
Painters tape= "masking tape"
True 👍
bellissimo
Thanks!
Get rid of the tooth brush my man
Tbh a tooth brush can come in handy, also a soft 3inch paint brush for dusting off
I have since replaced the toothbrush with 3 similarly sized brushes with different types of heads
These tools that you claim to keep here in my country will work your whole life and you cannot buy them. No wonder
That sounds unfortunate
