Wow I had the Rex and Trike . It’s amazing seeing these after all these years. These two dinosaurs started my dino collection as a kid. Incredible!! thank you very much for the nostalgia!! Ebay here I come!
I grew up passing the summers in a farm in Mexico, jumping and playing in the barley straw. One day I lost the UKRD triceratops. Two years later, someone yelled..."There is a lizard in the food of the horses!"...it was the Triceratops. Still have it, great memories!
I had a few of the UKRD ones as a kid, I definitely remember that Parasaurolophus and Ankylosaurus. The only vintage find I've scored lately was an Invicta Cetiosaurus to go with my others, one of the only still reasonably available ones I was lacking. Thanks for showing these off Andy!
I definitely love the Black Tyrannosaurus Rex to me it brings me back to when I watched Land Before Time as well as Dino Stalker Tyrannosaurus . When you see a Tyrannosaurus in such a color you definitely feel a sense of dread and intimidation and to imagine being stalked by an animal that blends in the Pitch darkness especially at night never known when it's about to strike and when it does the last thing it's prey will see is its Jaws sealing it's untimely fate.
I had a couple of these as a kid and loved them. I had the pachycephalosaurus, allosaurus, ankylosaurus, and dimetrodon. I still have the pachycepalosaurus and the allosaurus they were my favourite two but unfortunatley lost the other two. Great video sent me right down memory lane.
The UKRD 92 was originally distributed by Boley all the figures were about 4 inches. They later repainted and sold by Toy Smith. The original raptor came in 2 colors. The Apatosaurus uses the Camarasaurus head and the later Bendable UKRD rlease calls it canmarasaurus, The Ank is based on Euplocephalus . The was on larger size set the 91 and many smaller sets using the same designs. Iguanodon was only part of the 92 set.
Fun Fact: The AAA T-Rex has a few different colour schemes, they is a tan yellowish one, the one that has the Terra Battat T-Rex colour scheme and there's a grey one and a brown one, I think the most rarest ones of them all is not a colour scheme version but a proper glow in a dark one, I can't find any research about this one.
Mental Note: If you ever see the Apatosaurus with a head of a Camarasaurus on it, then it's a Brontosaurus. I also think that Ankylosaurus was meant to be a Euoplocephalus because it is heavily inspired by the work of John Sibbick, who was one of the top leading Paleoartists of the late 20th century.
@@type_4410 Nah, they just placed a Camarasaurus head onto the body, surprisingly it fit. I think Paleontologists once thought that both creatures were closely related.
I’ve went to Kirymarket today and I’ve got the UKRD allosaurus parasaurolophus and stegosaurus so for I have got the Triceratops allosaurus parasaurolophus Brachiosaurus Ankylosaurus and stegosaurus

I had that first dino set as a kid. Still got some of those figures in storage. The Ankylosaurus is supposed to be Euoplocephalus, I recall.
Really dig the look of the first set of figures. Nice vintage quality, stylish. Nice gets, man!
Wow these are nicely sculpted and painted, I love the wash on the first ones you showed.
Always love a good Throw back

I think scientists made a mould of what the brontosaurus skull would have looked like

@Mr. N oh ok
