Surprising our 11-year-old son with getting braces put on for the first time was somewhat of an accidental surprise. With nothing on the calendar these days we just assumed he would have to wait to get his braces put on top and bottom for the first time. When Mom got a text reminder about his orthodontist appointment we had to call to make sure it wasn't an error. Sure enough, Ryler was getting braces put on top and bottom for the first time and he had no idea! Getting braces was a total surprise!
