Thanks I have one and it JUST STOPPED in middle of ride, I was going around area picking up recycle So I was stepping off then stepping on moving up a few feet then Stepping off an on again for SIX BLOCKS when I stepped on then the scooter moved forwards. I DIDN'T TURN IT OFF and then I checked transmission it was in drive position. I put it into neutral and back to DRIVE no change still in NEUTRAL. I had to push it home. I HAVE FOOT AMPUTAION BONE DEASES IN OTHER FOOTNOW i HAVE BACK PAIN AND LEG PAIN. not happy

I have owned invacare comet pro for 4 years. I have approx. 10 thousand kilometers on it. great scooter if you remember a couple things. put it in turtle mode when going up steep hills or may blow fuse ( but I weigh 350 pounds) can be tipped if you are not careful, but I am very tall...good reliable scooter although my odometer/speedometer do not work properly anymore. may be time to buy another.
