I've tried myself a few times haven't given up on it through. Media arts and animation is what the course is called here or something similar to it in other schools. The international academy of art design and technology was one of the best ones, the art institute and full sail academy are some other really good ones. Iadt was brought out by Stanford Brown University some years ago so I don't know if their still around but if you ever wanted to study abroad you can look those and other schools like them up. ☺
