Here are 5 ways to eat over ripe bananas! Some people think these are simply ripe but they look ugly so many people throw them out. Here are 5 of my favorite ways to use these bananas in banana recipes like banana bread but not just boring banana bread! I also share how to make favorite banana muffins.
They are perfectly ripe and they still have about a week to start being overripe:)

My local grocery store bags up their old, spotty bananas and sell them for 1p each!! I have about 100 chopped up in my freezer for smoothies or I just throw them into yoghurt with raspberries sometimes and they're great with a slice of peanut butter toast :)

I love when I find spotted bananas! Most people turn up their noses so the grocery store sells them at half the cost. Just bought over 30 pounds of them! We do a lot of the above - we also slice them up and make natural banana chips on our dehydrator. It's a great snack for the kids...ok, and for me. yum!

Over Riped bananas has way more taste
They are actually ripe when they're spotty ^^ Unripe bananas contain more starch which converts into sugar while they ripe - what doesn't mean the spotty ones have more calories! They are just sweeter :)
Yoo Hoo Yep! We were scheduled to shoot this video and couldn't run out and buy brown bananas so we had to use what we had... womp womp. The ideas are still the same but thank you for pointing it out.
I don't eat them until they are really spotty! Those bananas are perfect! You digest the sugars better! :)
This is GENIUS! I only eat bananas when they are basically green & hard to peel. However, they brown so quickly & I'll only them in something else. Great ideas!

those bananas aren't overripe, they're actually perfectly ripe. most people eat bananas before they have spots, which is unripe. when bananas have spots, their starches have changed to sugars, making them much easier to digest so that more nutrition can be attained. they also contain cancer fighting compounds that become more abundant once they have turned spotty.
I try and tell people this! They are overripe when they get bruised.

My husband likes bananas when they get polka dotted, not before. I was thinking about making banana bread with the bananas I have right now, but this video mentioned banana muffins, which sound like a good change from bread....and I can make some with chocolate chips in them and some without. I also like the banana oatmeal (and add raisins) recipe and put it in the microwave. I know bananas are supposed to be good for us and it’s good (for me, at least) to know of other ways to eat them than by themselves.
Ripe bananas are really good... They're easier to digest because of the starch being replaced by natural fruit sugar..... No harm in eating them..

I use Over Ripe bananas in oatmeal or mix them with jelly to spread over biscuits. And I use any bananas as a fruit salad. And I love them frozen too. Or I mix them with marshmallows.
Can you do a grocery shopping as a single person? I throw out so much food. And also, I have a very small kitchen. I keep my crock-pot and mixer in my living room (much to my dad's dislike). I usually don't finish my bananas too. I will have to try oatmeal banana cookies. I usually just make banana bread. I forgot about you, but I'm back.

You need a husband like mine. I buy bananas and like them barely ripe, while he doesn't think are ready until they have spots on them on up to downright mushy! I am looking forward to trying these things, however.

It's a divided issue and it comes down to why you're paleo. I'm paleo but I eat bananas because my goal is to eat healthier. "Some people don’t consider bananas Paleo because of their high starch content, but others do because they are a fruit and are unprocessed."

I have recently been blending a few frozen bananas with skim or almond milk, peanut butter, and frozen pineapple. I then add either fresh berries or granola on top and eat it out of a bowl. I just bought chocolate PB from Peanut Butter and Company so I might try the milkshake one!
