I got the Flex-Torx set that came with 2 boxes of Flex-Torx bits and a set of drill bits. That one also has the bit holder with sleeve and the magnetic sleeve that fits over the long bits. Best purchase ever from Lowe's.
Went with version1 FlexTorq over the version1 Milwaukee that used to spiral when you gave it torque. The PH2 and 3 can break tapcons without even a dent in any of the blades. Still going on the same bits. The only screws they have issues with are stainless PH2 rounded heads
Malco has the coolest 1/4-5/16 hex bit for the impact driver at home depot you can flip it around to alternate sizes and it easily cleans off the zinc that stays inside
A nice video though I was looking for the a review of the 40-piece DeWalt which has the magnetic collar and I had no clue how to use it but I figured it out. I wish some one would do a video in using these impact tools to take cars and motorcycles apart rather than just wood work. When I bought my first battery powered drill almost 40 years ago we used it as a screwdriver to take panels off the airplanes and helicopters I worked on. It was so much easier than the old hand crank handles we had that most here probably never heard of or seen one. Anyways...your video was entertaining and educational... Thanks!
The best bits I have ever used over here in the uk we use pz2 pozidriv screws instead of philips and they fit perfectly so I got the milwaukee shockwave gen 2 test them out they are good but not as good as dewalt but you get more shockwaves I'm a tic tac box of 25 instead of dewalt in the new t stack case for cheaper
Great review!! I've seen these Dewalt Flex-Torx kits that say "Impact Ready 30x Stronger Then Standard Bits" and was told they can handle 2,000 inch pounds of torque. Now Dewalt has a few new Impact Driver Kits that are called "Dewalt 'MaxImpact' 50x Stronger Then Standard Bits" that have 2 Flex-Torx Zones....but nobody seems to know what their torque rating is. 2 calls to Dewalt and still no answer. The Dewalt MaxImpact Kit Numbers are: DWANI34 and DWANI31. Would love to find out more on them.
What’s your opinion on the higher end bits ? I found almost all the bit kits you find in the big box stores your going to get some good with some bad fitting bits. Do you think it’s worth looking into some of the higher end made bits like Whia/Wera/Felo/&PB Swiss ?
I’m it varies for me Vince because we do a little bit of everything but no I’m not making cabinets we install them. We will make different fixtures around fireplaces or a wall fixture for some of our better customers but mainly we remodel kitchens & bathrooms. Then what about the other side of it Vince will they last longer ?
I hear the more expensive bit last much longer, but I haven’t bought anything beyond DeWalt titanium or Milwaukee red helix. For what I do they’ve served me well.
So this particular bit set, i purchased one at the Lowe's here in west texas, anyways, there is a collar u said didnt come w your purchase. Well m, mines came with it for 9.99 and it came w that collar. The silver thingy, my question is, how do you use it? Perhaps a demonstration for that usage.
I hate that they don’t include T10 & T15 bits to fit GRK screws. I also noticed when you used the drill with one hand, you heightened your grip and used your middle finger on the trigger. Is that for more leverage? I’ve seen a few people do it and always wondered exactly why. Thanks for the video. I needed a break!
I’m a Milwaukee power tool kinda guy but when it come to bits I can’t stand the Milwaukee bits . 90% of my bits are dewalts . Always try different brands bits but always go back to dewalt .
Looks like BS to me on the short bits. Even if you want to buy into the whole concept of the flex thing, as it applies to the longer bits, no way in hell that the short ones can actually flex enough to make a difference. The stronger metal, OTOH, could be well worth it. The other problem is that the flexing is essentially a shock absorber. That's the overall problem with the concept. It negates some of the effects of the whole impact drive concept. That's fine for driving screws and the like, but it's still just a torque shock absorber.
It's the exact same thing that Milwaukee has had out forever it's just a Milwaukee box thats yellow DeWalt is just a bunch of copycats they can't never come up with an original idea on their own
Gotta love those bit holders that have a sleeve .I learned this on this channel
Vin doin’ so much flexvoltin he upped his shirt size from schmedium to just medium. BEAST MODE!!!!
🤣🤣🤣xtra medium!!

Picked up the 100 piece flextorq last night, haven't opened it yet but it looks nice
Pls do a review on a battery operated vacuum , the good one , what to buy.
Malco has the coolest 1/4-5/16 hex bit for the impact driver at home depot you can flip it around to alternate sizes and it easily cleans off the zinc that stays inside
I wanna grab those!!
The square bits are called Robertsons. We use them for everything up here in Canada.
I just bought the 40 piece flex torque kit and so far I'm really loving it great video Vince YOU DA MAN!!
Another good video and demonstration! Have a great rest of the day!
Thanks mama! ❤️
The case reminds me of the old dewalt organizer box i bought years ago except for the lack of magnets on the case.
It's a great kit and they don't ask for too much for them
They work beautifully in my makita driver 😅
In using th sleeve putting facia metal on its ridiculously easier

Awesome Jacob!! Thanks for watching!

Great vídeo thanks, DeWalt good bits but for me wera bits are the best quality and strong bits 👌
Overhead roof, Wall to wall floor, transparent windows. etc,etc and so on.

I would check them out, gotta ask how accurate do the holes need to be?

I would hope a #2 bit would fit a #2 screw lol
You would hope but you never know!!
Muy buenos videos Vince, excelentes las herramientas de Walt y los insumos flex-torq inigualables. Un abrazo
Thanks Edgardo !!
I have had that same set, all the number two bit heads have shattered .
Oh no! How did it happen?
I've always struggled to put the bits back in their place in the case, anyone else? Any tips?
The plastic clips are trash. Too bad they dont figure something out.
i've had the best luck sliding them in underneath the tabs instead of trying to push them through the tabs
Yeah just dont take them out the case duh
VCG Construction you remind me of the guy that does fb videos as a guy named Kyle. You're a Kyle. Lol. But I do enjoy your videos. Viva le dewalt.
Way too much wobble for me on the shorter bits. Longer bits seemed great though. Thanks.

The long bits go through it for magnetization!!
Vince you should look at the new makita black oxide impact bits on the home Depot website
Great review boys.. who took all those screws out after lol 😉
Thanks Shawn!!! How are you brother?
VCG Construction we're doin alright. Thanks fellas.

Would you just look at it!!! .? Nice bit set
Look at it just look at it!!
Sorry for this dumb question, but what is a number 2 screw? I see number 8 and 10 a lot, but what is a number 2?
No such thing as a dumb question. It is a Phillips head screw and number 2 is the size
So much Black and Yellow!!! ;-)

I didn’t notice my grip, I’ll need to make a mental note!

I'm amazed he can read
Why do you jump around at the end of your videos and tell people to click here and here and here and there's nothing there?
Greg Gonzalez Yes there is mate
It's the exact same thing that Milwaukee has had out forever it's just a Milwaukee box thats yellow DeWalt is just a bunch of copycats they can't never come up with an original idea on their own
