Bro I posted a few videos ago about how I broke 1700 hundred and now I'm 1830ish peak in blitz. Thanks so much dude your videos are the best. My only complaint is you don't post more often lol
This capibara novelty is really reinforcing! Love your videos, man. Especially the creativity in your thumbnails, it captivates me to think even more thoroughly in chess! ❤
28:45 loool I loved the third game. I ran into the fantasy a couple of times recently as white (at 1300 rapid) and it took me some time but i remembered what to do from your videos...Thanks!
Love these videos, Thanks Alex. In game two at 26.30 in, when opponent played Qg4 stopping mate on g1 when you had 11.9 seconds on your clock, I believe you had Rxh3+ starting another mating combination. But your idea of being up a whole rook was good and straightforward too.
wanted to keep it most clearcut since if we have to mention all of them, black can also castle long many times in exchange caro/other normal structures.
You missed a tactic at 41:00 . Rook takes bishop , queen /rook takes rook , then the other rook takes the piece. The remaining rook or queen takes the rook and knight g4 royal fork , collecting the piece.
Against The Fantasy 3...e5 is fun, but if they know some theory, as Alex says, it is iffy against strong players, and often I get great positions with the standard 3...e6. So it was nice to see a game where Alex played 3...e5 and the opponent knew some theory. Although a little frustrating how easily Alex got a nice position with Black. ;)
I want to share my over the board games I have been playing your openings and I'm defeating 1800 fide and 1900s fide. I just started playing fide rated games this year and I got 1872 fide rating in my first tournament. But I will be 1950 next month if they update the ratings. Thank you Alex benzae your student from zambia 🇿🇲 .
after watching one of your video I recently started playing this line you recommend against the fantasy, got the quick checkmate with the king on d2 in the second game and I am 1650 blitz lol
Please make a playlists of suspected cheaters. I get it you might have lost, but I've seen videos of you playing suspected cheaters and its interesting watching you play stockfish.
11:40 why is 12... Be7 a bad move? I thought that Be7 is a good move with your ideas for the knight and the h pawn. For expamle 12... Be7 13. 0-0 Kd4 14. Qd3(or c2 falls) Kf5 and to play for black squares with h5 (so white dont have g4) and then Bh4 and focus the g3 square (Like you did in the game but with the bishop on h4 instead of pawn). And the possitive of this variation is that because of Qd3 the white's dark bishop cant get good square to develop in the near 5-10 moves. Your idea in the game with direct 12... h5 was probably much better, i just got confused why is Be7 misplace for the bishop when it develop on a square which focus on your game plan anyway. Am i missing something? P.S. Oh, and also, 11:42 why is 12...Bg7 good move for a pawn break with f6 and Be7 is bad move for a pawn break with f6. Isn't it better to stay on e7 because of the better dark diagonal.
How come at the 30:02 mark you say “according to the computer this is better for white” Looking at an engine during the game and not afterwards is a little weird… Not sure if that was ok for you to do that
You are probably new to chess, but as chess masters we usually know the first 20 moves and have prior computer knowledge everywhere. I literally have a book written on that line, so no…I was not looking at the computer during the game
@AlexBanzea Alex, I am studying your London Course (70% win rate so far!) and am gonna buy your Caro-Kann soon. But what course for 1.d4? I like the Dutch Leningrad... Do you have something, or should I get Neiksans Dutch Leningrad course? (I am about 800 ELO).
i know im late to commenting as this video was released awhile ago, but i was wondering do you have any recommendations in the Caro Kann for how to play when white declines the Tartakower variation and plays Ng3 after Nf6. Thanks for your videos, they have got me to 1700 so far :)
Noob question, why is rerouting the knight to d5 at the beginning of the first game a thing? cant he just look for c4 and kick it/prevent it? Do you guys have any other suggestions for white openings except the jobava?
I told my girlfriend I hadn’t had the tartakower position in a while, she sent me to sleep on couch, oh well , got the smartphone, on to following game!
It sucks that people are cheating. Just a word of caution, you sometimes look down (i think maybe your phone messages) and certain areas (maybe your stream chat) and if Kramnik sees that he'll start trouble.
I never look down, I rarely look on the side to double check that I didn't forget to press the record button (and it happens every game once or twice :D)
I was 1200 elo but after capybara break, I’m a grandmaster. Thanks, Alex.

Couple more well explained concepts that will surely help me break the 1700 wall I hit few weeks ago. Thank you Mr. Banzea!
this is the best chess channel for learning

Best chess channel ❤
another winner from the only Chess Teacher out there!! we love u prieten!
End games can be so simple sometimes : "push, push, push, and... push ! "😊
The messy haircut is most versatile. Go two days without brushing your hair and it still looks like it's supposed to look. Looks good!
Lol . Loved the capibara break😂😂😂
You've nailed it once again master B ❤ waiting lovingly f4r th3 next CaroJebavas masreries 😊
Don't forget the third one -- in the tartakower where we have doubled pawns
wanted to keep it most clearcut since if we have to mention all of them, black can also castle long many times in exchange caro/other normal structures.
Another Caro Kann video, hurraaahhhhhh yesss
This man is the definition of chess aura
Informative video you got there, Alex😊
Alex is a blessing 🎩✨
I am now 2000 thanks to all these videos used a cool idea In the exchange variation to finally hit the milestone
You missed a tactic at 41:00 . Rook takes bishop , queen /rook takes rook , then the other rook takes the piece. The remaining rook or queen takes the rook and knight g4 royal fork , collecting the piece.
"Imagine you cannot leave your house because you're afraid that somebody will rob you and steal a pretzel" LOOOOOOOLLLL
Well-played @AlexBanzea!

Lately I mostly get early NF3 positions. I don’t get opposite side castling that often, I did find a comfortable win recently.
i like he sets up the cheese (a3 in the jobava london)
Another great video. Appreciate.
39:00 what about sacking the Rook and then forking the king and queen with knight? I guess if he takes with King you have to think a bit more.

27:12 - the MoanLoaner mate 🤣
Thanks King for helping us attack the King
Love these videos..please please do not forget King's Indian as well.❤
That capybara break was epic
I went to your channel yesterday like "where is this guy".

I do get hyper protective of my pretzels.
Finnally some caro!!!
alex do you have a theory starter pack for the jobava london and caro kann? if u don’t you should totally make one
27:38 Actually needed that capybara break
What a very manly performance on the last game😂
Will there be a discount on the London System course at the World Championships? I am excited to buy it.❤
I am not in charge of the chessable sales, hopefully!
Maybe another stupid Question, but how do I play after kf6 Qc6? Do I just take the pawn instead of letting him get it?
loving my caro kann chessable course btw thank you so much Alex…any estimate when will the jobava course launch?
Not so clear now, but working on it full time
@@AlexBanzeagood luck we r counting on you
The picture after the second game is very interesting for us Brazilians. Why? In Brazil we call a weak player a capivara (capybara)....
it was just for the cuteness
what do you remember if opponent plays e4 e5 as white when you start with the caro kann
When are you gong to show us the Dalibomba attack?
Capybara break? That’s so niche. Beautiful.
Alex, aka Jose Raul Capybara at work on the board
I wear my camo crocs to every wedding. That explains my 100 elo..
The capybara break 😂😂😂
Can't believe I sat throughout that whole 50 mins. Marry me
Long wait for jobover
Thanks Alex , love your content. Nice roast on Kramnik too. That’s a guy really having a mid-life crisis 🤣
YESSS CARO
Chessman makes me believe in the Caro Kann that it isn't Caro Kan't.
Capybara made my day! 😂
*ADDENDUM CHESS RULES JOBAVA LONDON/CARO-KANN*
Rule 0 - Press record button 😅
My opponents avoid the tartakower like a cat avoids water.
Lol
Snacks for nerds! Love it!
Nice
“Push”
Does nobody play the panov at your level?😭
we've obviously been to different weddings
Your hair went from styled to messy to styled. What sorcery is this?!
WOOHOOO
capibara break OP
I told my girlfriend I hadn’t had the tartakower position in a while, she sent me to sleep on couch, oh well , got the smartphone, on to following game!
If only you learned the exchange variation, you could have exchanged the couch position with her in a second.
Capybara sighting!!
I know only one thing, push push push and push
we all need capybara break!
having sleep issues eh?
It sucks that people are cheating. Just a word of caution, you sometimes look down (i think maybe your phone messages) and certain areas (maybe your stream chat) and if Kramnik sees that he'll start trouble.
