It really hurts me as a lover of hip hop, for stuff like this to be promoted and glorified as "hip hop" in Korea. I really wish the people who really understand the art were more famous. At least some would be able to recognize what true hip hop is, and put things like this in another category. There was only one person on SMTM that I've seen who had this mindset. But, he got eliminated, sadly.
I like Vasco a lot, I think he has some good songs and he seems like a genuinely cool person...but this was not what I hoped or expected from him considering how long he's been around in the industry. It's a real shame. I can bop to it, but really, I thought he would have higher standards. He and Giri are so insistent on trying to make trap into an art form. X'D

Being honest and real. Yes, that story doesn't always have to be pretty, happy, and sweet, but at least tell the truth. If it's one thing I can't stand, it's when people do stuff like this, and try to call it hip hop. Please don't use the word so graciously if you can't truly represent the art form that it really is.
