We have booked AX5 variant Petrol AT. And you are absolutely right RUclipsrs are influencing -ve points against XUV 700. Mahindra has definitely improved on customer feedback. I have subscribed your channel. W’ll regularly share experiences

Everyone's requirement is different in terms of driving. Some prefer driving in hills, some on highway runs and mostly in city. All the car behaves differently on different terrain hence it may not suit people who prefers hills. People who drives in city or highways maybe good for them. Also for braking it also depends on which variant you are buying.
Agree but i can't think of any car buyer who can do daily uphill downhill, max 2-3 times a week agree but everyday is really hard to believe

I have heard of issues with break pads depleating soon due to automatic brraking, Have you felt so? Also how responsive is Mahindra service when it comes to resolving issues?
Vishnu that person is not telling the truth it can never happen and with my vehicle i never felt like this. From the beginning automatic braking is on in my car and till now (7000km completed) no issues. And believe me Mahindra service is excellent and they are very serious about XUV700.

Is petrol tgdi engine required regular carbon deposit cleaning? Is it reliable if cleaning is not enough?
I never did it till now and not sure in service if they do it by default

Hi bro Adas and aebs is not working in my new car even some times door handles not getting closing
Sometimes it happens when the vehicle is new. Initially it happened with me also but now no problem. All the warning lights used to come up for my car initially. But now all these issues are not coming. For door handles u can take it to the service center It needs some minor adjustments for fixing
After 5th gear 6th gear is not shifting above 80 to 85 KM so the average is very less because 6th gear is operating after 95 km speed in Maharashtra our Highway top speed limit is 80 km only so I can't run the vehicle in 6th gear also constantly 95 speed is very risky Mahindra must give drive modes like diesel zip or economy or sports mode It will be more beneficial to improve the mileage if I tried to operate 6th gear in manual mode it is not shifting in6th gear in between 80 to 85 KM speed it is very disappointing
Great observation , same for me but In 5 also the car will give good mileage if you try to keep RPM around 1500. One more tip try using adaptive cruise control for me it's giving 17-17.5 when I am driving using adaptive cruise control

Delivery of my AXL P AT is within 2 months. Heard of safari 1.5L Petrol launch. Will that have better mileage ? Should i wait for it or take xuv delivery?
Yes 1.5 L may give 5-6 km more per L but XUV is tested and known SUV now. Not sure how much petrol Safari will go
One youtuber said that, when he was driving the break was failed, that's why he sold the car, i felt blanked after hearing that. Is it true ??

Ya gaurav Even I have seen many videos people just want to sell the negativity of the product. Out of 100 if 3-4 negatives are present then they will target them and will not talk about any positive

For example, let’s take about the doorhandles, those doorhandles, which are on xuv 700 are meant for cars with slim body and which are designed for extreme aerodynamics. But on the other hand, this fat car has those doorhandles which are super odd. What can you expect from a tractor company? Look at German car brands, at least, those of which are available in India, they are designed to be slick and minimalistic.

Is any jerk felt when gears get changed like it is felt in AMT.
No Jerk at all, it is having torque converter type of gyre box which works perfectly. From 2nd to 3rd i can feel the sound due to high rpm, but not jerk. Rest all gear upshift downshift not even noticeable.

Definitely yes if you can touch that figure 1.5 lakh in 6 years means around 50-60km per day

First thing diesel rate and petrol rate are almost same second government can bring any new law w.r.t diesel third I am not using more then 1k km per month diesel is fine for those who drive 30-40 km per day. Fourth resale price is more
Fifth XUV petrol engine is very soft when compared to diesel with almost equivalent torque and power

I am very much satisfied with Mahindra earlier I was driving Swift but very much satisfied with Mahindra compared to maruti.
Mahendra Xuv700 petrol engine built up quality why weak or issues coming really upset for actually purchase or not ?
Go for it ...issues for any new things are expected but Mahindra is really taking care of their product

For XUV700 it doesn't matter whether automatic or manual. It's really a powerful machine, I never faced any issues while overtaking

Not exactly but sometimes on a bad road i feel sound. And it's not consistent, will try to get it fixed in 2nd service

If you are not using highways frequently then I will suggest to go with petrol. Actual mileage difference comes on highways when compared to petrol and diesel cars.

From my perspective if you are going with a big size car then you must go for a 7 seater. Secondly as your monthly running is 1-1.5 k then a petrol car will be ideal. The benefit of a petrol car is resale value compared to diesel. Getting
a good deal on resale is far better than getting 3-4 km/l more with diesel.
