From The Publisher: In The Game of Life: Super Mario Edition board game, players choose to play as Mario, Luigi, Peach, or Yoshi, journeying through the Mushroom Kingdom, and finally spinning to win in a battle against Bowser! They move around the looping paths of the gameboard as they collect coins, power up with items and Companions, and play fun minigames along the way such as Rock Paper Scissors, Thumb Wars, and Spin-Offs. As they approach Bowser's Castle, players will also buy stars to boost their battle-spin; each star collected adds 1 point to their spin total, and players will need to spin higher than a 12 to defeat Bowser and win the game.

The real mario party , it just needs some minigames
Pretty much
Technically, it does have minigames
Thank you for explaining the rules so clearly🙌🏻
You're so welcome!
Great explanation on how to play. We still didn’t play it yet. We felt like there were too many rules to keep in mind while playing 😂
Hopefully it is helpful!
I always wanted to update snake and ladders with some perks to it, can’t believe someone thought of it now with this game
Thx for this video ♥️ my brother & I enjoyed playing!
Glad you enjoyed!
We are playing this tonight, going to watch this video a few more times, as im still a bit confused!
this helped a lot thanks dude
Glad to hear it!
Thank you so much!!
Does someone understand the superleaf item card, that says move to any unoccupied space. Can you move straight to Bowsers castle or what are your options for moving?
I know this was a year ago but thanks I just bought it today
This is cool, like an actual Mario Party board, I want it
5:42 - I cannot find anything in the rules that says you can move +1 for each star you have.
It’s on the 1st page, when you open the instruction booklet.
Thanks for this!!!
Glad it helped! Thanks for taking the time to comment!
Playing this tonight with my nerd adult friends! Thanks for the instructions 👍 tons of help
Glad I could help!
Here's a question. In certain minigames, the winner can move to any space. Does that person follow the instructions of that space when they land on it or only move the character there? I know, the Superleaf card lets you move to any space, but that's before you spin which means, since it's before step 1, you don't follow the instructions on the space. If you did, that card would, in effect, give you 1 1/2 turns and get the benefit of 2 spaces, but the minigame happens when you land on the space and follow the rules of the space.
So, if you win the minigame and the reward is to move to any space, do you get the benefit of the space you land on?
Sorry I don’t have the game anymore . I’m not sure
Thanks for sharing 👍 😊
Thanks for visiting 👍 😊
My family has a question about The Game of Life Super Mario edition. We were playing tonight and couldn’t agree on what to do next.
My family member landed on an action space which says “Draw an action card and DO WHAT IT SAYS.” He drew the Blooper card and won against BLOOPER, so the card says “If you win, spin again and move. Your turn ends where you landed.” Well, he happened to land on Bowser. Should he fight Bowser like you do when you land on him or did his turn end when he landed on the space like the card said?
I think he fights bowser
Do you keep moving after an optional or star spot? Like you roll 8 but stop after 2 then keep going?
No
THANKS!!
Glad I could help!
i absolutely love this game, got it yesterday and i checked what the game was like, and it felt like a mario party game, but as an actual board game
still have to play this game with my friends tho
now one question, can two players be on the same spots, if not, what do they do?
Glad to hear your enjoying it! As far as I can remember it’s totally fine to share spaces
It would be Nice to add the Mario Party rule that when two players land on the same space they play a duel minigame, and the winner gets some coins from the other player
If you get a card that lets you steal a companion from another player, do you get to choose what you take or does the person you’re stealing from gets to choose
You get to choose
What does the card that says "can move to any unoccupied space" mean. my friends and I can't figure out if that means we can hop across the map or its just some of the coin spaces, we aren't quite sure, let us know, thank you
You can go tii on any space that no one is on
@@BowersGameCorner ok thank you, I just seemed like a cheap move to go anywhere on the map
@@BowersGameCorner so when we move to any unoccupied space with that card, do we then get what ever is on that new unoccupied space? ( such as coins or pick up a card, resulting in a double turn?)
I bought it yesterday
Do you lose your star when you lose the bowser battle?
When you dont reach the number to defeat bowser do you go back and give up all urs stars too?
No. You don’t lose any stars
Mattel, Hasbro, Type-Moon and Nintendo collaboration project starts now!
Boom
Can you suggest how to play games with easier rules for little kids, like make them up?. We try this all the time but it’s not easy.
Sorry I Dont have the rules anymore for this one
Question! Do you HAVE to go to bowser or can you avoid him and go around the circle?
In order to win you have to go to him
@@BowersGameCorner Yes indeed but if you're in the red circle area are you forced to go to him or can you keep going and follow the circle?
@@jk6956 your not forced (:
On some of the cards it's says we can move to any 'unoccupied space' what is considered as an 'unoccupied space'? And does that mean just moving anywhere across the board? Lol sounds too good to be true so I'm kinda confused by that
Yea I think it means anywhere
So you could go to the end? Skip the entire board with just one card? I’m confused about this card too
@@tinaw1719 yea I’m pretty sure the card allows you to do that. You can make a house rule so people CANT do that tho (:
What happens when you land on an occupied space?
im searching for a board game us xmas present for my mom that want it for playing with me i know she played the normal game of life but like im a mario fan i woud probally get these one
I think you’ll both enjoy it
What if I get to Bowser and I only carry one star? Should I go to the start point and lose all my coins?
You can't visit him until you have more stars
What does the unoccuppied space mean
Any space without a player. That also includes the bowser space
Kinda a missed opportunity to replace the wheel with a Mario Party dice (yea I know the wheel is part of the game) but still xD
That’d be sweet
Anything in this game that improves on the original?
If so I might watch the rest of the video.
It's honestly a drastically different game. Different movement, mini games, special powers, different end game condition. I like it better, but I'm also a big Mario fan
For sure! I don't like the original game of life but I love Mario version. Bummed how expensive it is though!
Does "Any Unoccupied space" mean ANY on the board, or the NEAREST unoccupied in either direction from your current space? So could the person move to Bowzer spot if no one is there? Directions are not clear.
I need to know this answer as well!
I need to know this as well
Yes! It includes every space and bowser :D
Some of your videos dont allow comments like your Bluey one.
Thanks for letting me know. I have it preset to allowing comments, but for whatever reason every once in a while, RUclips makes it like that. About to fix that now
This is the hardest game ever
Just saw this game on a shop today. Your video made me want to get it, but it's a little overpriced imo here (around 40 bucks)... Would get it in a sale though!
Ya, I’m sure it will be on sale throughout the holidays
I bought it from Walmart for about $24.
Prices área around 24$ And 40$ don't worry
Amazon on sale now!
$?
Companions are too good, you can have 3 companions but 1 object, try to guess which you should head for
Agreed
Hey why did you not play that's my disappointment
I haven't heard of that one
1st😁
too complex for a 5 year old?
Yes, unless you have a lot of patience
