Thanks for telling me the speed when plugged into a USB-A. Couldn’t find any video talking about that. You said that at the very end tho, so almost missed it.
Difference in abbreviation of Mb=Mega bits, MB=Mega Bytes - you own soft tells you its 1044.75 MB - means Mega Bytes! - its 8 times FASTer than what you are saying!
@@themadears @MR MADE basics se batata hu , DATA ki size ko measure karne ka unit hote hai , ek hota hai BIT and dusra BYTE . 8 BIT = 1 BYTE hota hai ! Aur jab speed measure karte tab bhi 2 unit use hote Mega bit/s (Mb/s) and Meha Byte/s (MB/s). Isme bhi same difference hota , 8 Mb/s = 1 MB/s ! Ab is difference ki wajah se company wale consumer ko confuse karte . For eg agar aap koi movie copy kar rahe jiska size hai 1GB (giga Byte) Aur SSD pe likha hai 1Gb/s speed ! To aapko lagega ki movie 1 sec mei copy ho jayegi but asa nahi hota . Aapki file ki size giga Byte mei hai ! And speed claim kari giga bit mei ! So aapko 8 Gb/s wali SSD lagegi ! Reason 8 giga bit /s = 1 giga Byte/s .
@@themadears We will start with basics , size of a data is measured in two units 1st is BIT and 2nd is BYTE . And 8 BIT = 1 BYTE ! While measuring transfer speed we have 2 units again. Mega bit/s (Mb/s) and Meha Byte/s (MB/s). And difference between them is also same , 8 Mb/s = 1 MB/s ! The problem is both have little difference while writing MB/s and Mb/s and that difference is easily ignored by consumers !! So if on a drive it's written 1 Gb/s transfer speed You will think you can transfer 10 GB of data in a 10 secs but no it will 80 secs !!! You will need either a driver with trasfer speed of 80 Gb/s or 10 GB/s !! To trasfer this file in a sec ! Final conclusion is don't mix MB/S and Mb/s ! Your data size is in bytes but drive transfer speed and internet speed are measured in bits ! So it's looks like you have crazy' fast speeds but reality is different.
I have it, I exoected more about the speed (usb-c to usb-c), haven't compoared to the 520 one or hhd though. The most important would be to know the minimal writing speed, not the maximum theoretical one. From my pc, it doesn't go faster than 400 mo/s and 90 from uhs-2 cards. maybe the speed also depends on the pc/sd card.
Garcias.
I looked on Amazon for it and found it but the reviews and a lot of people were saying that after a couple of months it died on them where they lost all their data on it that basically it crashed. And I was wondering if you had that problem before? Because I'm interested in buying it but since you've done a review on it I want to know what your thoughts are after you've had it for quite a few months of what it's done. I'd be more than welcome if you got back with me about it so that I will know if you had problems with it yourself but if not and you know what the quality and the issue is that people been having that you can fix it I'd be more appreciative. I always go to RUclips to look up reviews on products that I buy is because I want to know straightforward of the product from people that have used it before I have before buying it. And watching your video made me want to buy it so I bought it at Walmart. But just let me know what the issues are if you've had any issues and be more than grateful thank you very much for your video
Jacky Nguyen hello. I have a Mac mini m1 and a MPB 2012.. in the MBP i got 650 mb.. but in the m1 can’t get that number. Is always 400/450.. doesn’t matter if I plug into TB or USB. Always got the same, can you help me? Thanks

Loved the video! I had a similar Sandisk extreme v2 SSD review on my channel so this gave me some inspiration for future videos. Thank you for that!

Thanks for your review, keep on good work and getting better. Regards
Recommendation: Please do more unboxing reviews and how to’s please
As a reviewer you should know the difference between Mb/s and MB/s , that drive is capable of 1050MB/s that's equal to 8400Mb/s . 1byte = 8 bits.
Iam still confused

What happens if you lose the cable and the adapter , what can you do ?
How interesting it is. Tks, Jacky

This is not the latest version of Extreme Pro. New ones top out at 2000
That's is another version. I saw that spec. But, it's more expensive :)

What would be the read/write speed if my port is usb 3.2 gen 1?

My Sandisk works fine until now. No problem at all🥰
I bought the extreme version of 1000mbps model but when speed tested, just reach 450mbps. is this consider as model faulty?
No. In order to reach 1000MB, you need USB C thunder bolt, or gen 3.2. Double check your usb connection first.
@@JackyNguyen06 u mean the laptop port right? Im not sure on this but Im using USB-C to connect to my laptop
@@AfzalAsyraaf yes. Your laptop port should be thunder bolt usb C support.

The ssd can also connect direct to smartphone to transfer file cellphone to ssd drive?
Absolutely possible. I normally do it with my Samsung A70.
Thanks
Good video
You should be saying "Megabytes" NOT "Megabits". There's a big difference between the two.
I remember when you first were at 5000
