THEY DONT MAKE MUSIC LIKE THIS ANYMORE... BRING THE REAL HIP HOP BACK WITH THA DJs TURNTABLES MIXIN AND SCRATCHIN I WAS RAISED ON THIS KIND OF MUSIC!!!
You got the right idea. But, timing is everything. You have to count the beats. Youre using headphones make sure your mix is in sync before you display it. Leave the scratches in the headphones and master the mix first. Everyone Whats to be a scratch dj. Youre playing classics. So, do good blends and watch all the great comments roll in. Turn that case upside down and sit the mixer on top of it and slide everything tight together. I've been djing for over 40 years and won't tell you anything wrong. I love it!!!!!!! If you have any questions hit me up. Keep practicing!!!
@@viralmedianetwork415 I see, well it was perfect at first but then went out of sync, it's awesome freestyle just not synced well. I do some DJing too and I'm obsessive about sync.
😎The Jackson’s and Mick Jagger’s “State of Shock,” and Afro Rican’s “Give It All You Got” are the icing on the cake! Regarding music, there’s nothing like the unique sounds, various techniques, creative mixes, artistic expressions, and the music explosion of the 1980s. I’d gladly relive this decade!
There Were 6 Samples in the song: Fergalicious’ by Fergie (feat. Will.I.Am) (2006) --------------------------- 1. ‘Supersonic’ - J.J Fad (1987) - (Which is the main melody of how the song flows through each verse and chorus.) ---------------------------- 2. ‘Give It All You Got (Doggy Style)’ - Afro-Rican’ (1987) - (Which are the vocals saying the lines: ‘Four, Tres, Two, Uno’ in the beginning & towards the end of the song.) (Also, the sound effects of the silverware clicking on glasses are sampled from this track too) ---------------------------- 3. ‘Night Train’ - James Brown (1962) - (Which is the bass guitar riff used during the bridge of the song.) --------------------------- 4. ‘The Rat Patrol Theme Song’ - Dominic Frontiere (1966) (Which is the violin 🎻 sound/riff used each chorus) ---------------------------- 5. ‘It’s More Fun To Compute’ - Kraftwerk (1981) - (Which is the electronic keyboard sound used each time Will.I.Am does his spelling/freestyle saying the lines: (‘T to the A to the S T Y, girl, you tasty, T to the A to the S T E Y, girl, you tasty’) (‘D to the E to the L I C I O U S; D to the E to the’) ---------------------------- 6. ‘I’m A Greedy Man’ - James Brown (1972) (This one is a little hard to catch, but it is the vocal sample saying: ‘Pick up on this!’ right after the Kaftwerk sample comes into play.) ----------------------------
You should check out legendary SF Bay Area Dj Cameron Paul. He put djing in the map out here and many learned from him. His mixes were smooth and precise. Also he did the Mixx It remixes series back in the late 80’s and early 90’s. Great job and thanks for taking us back,
Thank you for your thoughtful and insightful contributions to the conversation! We sincerely hope you got value out of watching our content as well as adding your opinion, we certainly did!
Bro, those are classic tracks! They already come with plenty of cutting & scratching, so no need to chop them up like that. Keep practicing your mixing; synchronize those beats. - And remember that sometimes, "less is more."
thanks for your constructive criticism. Not the best DJ in the world nor ever claimed to be, just having fun with these tracks. There are some cuts slightly off, but I did this live and didn't want to edit out the imperfections. We'd love to see an example of your DJ skills to compare to. Nothing digital here except the video camera.

Started off rehearsed practice then became an unsynched boom fest. There will never be another mid 80s to mid 90s era, imitated but not duplicated.
Thanks for your feedback! This definitely came a little off the rails but it was not rehearsed one bit, all improvised.

What Michael Jackson song is used in this?
We're not sure but think it's just a sample of his vocal track.
I will also add that this version Throw The D, that has the Michael Jaclson sample is a remix put out by Wicked Mix.
