Performing under the name "Badlands House Band" in 2015/2016, Ron Keel Band represented the legendary Midwest entertainment enterprise known as "Badlands Pawn" in Sioux Falls, South Dakota (where the performance footage for this clip was shot). During that time, southern rock icon Henry Paul (Outlaws, BlackHawk) produced the group's first single, an epic new version of the classic "Ghost Riders In The Sky."
After scoring over 50,000 RUclips views with the original upload, we are proud to now feature this video on the Official Ron Keel channel and on the new RKB album "South X South Dakota."

I can tell ya because it's a cover of the version of The Outlawas. I'm missing a special kind of personality. So you have to watch the version wich was recorded by a german band named "Die Apokalyptischen Reiter" (The Apocalyptic Riders). This is a great version.

Nah, The Outlaws broke the mold on it from a rock perspective. However the whole album is phenomenal!!!😀
