No it’s totally not to cute I changed mines because plan spout with no hose so rinsing the sink when cleaning it was difficult so I changed it to a more modern up to date faucet and I love it
Me and my husband did that for the last two rentals before we finally bought our home earlier this year. And we installed it in our new home. So no, it's not too much to have beautiful things you actually want in a rental. Take them with you to the next place!
If you have the know-how to change it back to the original hardware, then it’s not too much. You have to love where you live. Especially with the rising costs of everything!

Hi joining by way of ATLANTA Ga, I just want to say I’m a homeowner and still found this as a beautiful and inexpensive way to update my home while being versatile. Reason being I intend on being in this house the rest of my life so knowing that my taste will change making upgrades like this makes it not only very easy to change out over time but cost affective as well, so thank you so very much stopped me from spending thousands of dollars upgrading kitchen and bathroom countertops and I can change it in the future to my liking.❤

I just bought some marble contact paper yesterday and was thinking about using it in my kitchen for the refrigerator. I’ve been in my apartment for over 12 years now and probably at least 10 years ago, I put down contact paper to cover up the ugly white counters in my kitchen. It’s a granite beige color that matches my brown wooden cabinets nicely. I came across your video just now and thought it was really cool to see you using the marble contact paper like what I just bought! Great job! You have so many great ideas. Thank you for sharing. Great video. Love the tips. I own but there is always something needed and it will be a couple of years before I can prioritize a majot kitchen remodel. I have changed my faucet 2x for a fancier one. Super easy way to upgrade the space. I look forward to trying the contact paper too!
Fyi you could put a standalone tile under your air fryer that is about the same color of your counter. We do that with our counter top toaster oven. Love your videos!

It has transformed the look of my kitchen! I didn't do a perfect job but only my husband and I look close enough to see the imperfections. I love your design ideas - keep up the great work!
I used contact paper to cover my sink area counter top...I lived in a awful apt at the time...BUT let me say it made me happier to do my dishes. It looked so much better! It lasted for a few years. Then I moved. 😁 So I agree this is a nice solution.
That is a great idea. Wondering about putting hot plates on top of contact paper. What happens when you move out? I never thought I could help the counters look better. I hate my kitchen floor, cabinets and counters. Floor is 70s brown brick look flooring and hideous dark brown cabinets and YELLOW countertops 😳🤦♀️

Your work looks great i have ugly cherry laminate cabinets and until i paint or change them i wanted to do this. I have granite counter top. When using airfryers i use baking sheets or chopping blocks behind and under them incase of spills and grease drippings from them. Use corner grippers for the corners they are made of rubber and find them in glass shops or wallpapper shops. Try amazon as well. will be trying this as well as old school liquid starch against fabric to look like wallpaper. I ever tried it on warpping paper. You kitch looks so beautiful.
Amazon has heat mats in a variety of sizes and colors for a reasonable price. Good for air fryer or hot pot on any countertop. You can even roll them up & tuck them away when not in use.

I just laid contact paper on my countertop and knowing it could last 2 years is a relief. Long-term I plan to replace the countertop with permanent laminate granite, but for now and until I can afford the replacement I'll stick w/ the contact paper. Next I'm looking at the bathroom cabinet.

The low faucets used to be standard. Sort of like rotary phones. The current standard is more practical.

I would add some caulking around that corner seam that's coming loose. It will smooth it out and look nicer.
