Such a masterpiece. In the end no one can be blamed for ruining his life. All of them had their own motives, which conveyed the characters well. You can just accept it and wait for (hopefully) season 2😢
This kdrama has to be one of the most interesting when it comes to plot and screenplay. The direction is phenomenal and the characters are just so loveable and hate-able at the same time. The fact that every character in this drama is bad, makes it all the more realistic and cool! I can’t wait for season two!!
For real! It looked real to me too! Also the dark elements that capture the dark reality some of the characters face. This is some everyday stuff.. Especially the trafficking and psychos part.. Interesting as well that they had a social issues club that just tell it all too xD

This intro is so hype!! It gave so much energy and I’d love it for a sports theme. It was so good that I never skipped the intro which I typically do on most dramas. Better yet, I like how they show a couple minutes of the episode before they kick in the intro. What an awesome drama given its simplistic amount of storytelling and time!
This drama is just too good it literally talks about issues in our society especially Us teenagers,Schools and shit all the hard times it’s just too real that’s what makes it so good
The beginning episode had me hooked. The dude wanted a 'normal' life he said at the start. I really wonder if they'll continue the next season where he does become normal or just gets away being successful. Super interesting
This show is the fantastic illustration of how korean dramas can be much more than romcom dramas how some shows can be dark full of violence and deep story telling and personally saying i just loved this show in my eyes it was straight 10 episodes masterpiece and just can't wait for 2nd season hope you guys are waiting too 😎😎
It is not your typical kdrama and I loved it ! It is dark and the love story is cut down to a minimum , it showes the unpleasant side of money making and i hope there is a second season ! Plus the theme song is very good 😁
The female main character (Gyuri) are very good and she really nail the character itself. I demand season 2 where they get out from juvenile prisons where gyuri goes full evil while jiso tried to save her.
James Lambertus but they were never caught by the detective as the second to last shot is her looking at a blood soaked empty stairway and then it shows Jinsoo watering his crab, so season 2(If renewed) will probably be about their adventure back into the underworld/crime
Claker Se there may be no need for a ss2 but because of the biz it is getting Netflix will only see dollar signs and will renew it, and the studios/director would want more money as well
Coming from someone who hates the over the top, cheesy Korean dramas (can't blame them since this is the country's entertainment format), I still gave it a try considering it was a Netflix original which is why it could be different from their daily soap operas. And boy I wasn't disappointed. It was a brilliantly executed story with top notch characters. The dark tone was what you would expect from a web series and the anti-establishent plotline was on the spot. After Stranger and Kingdom, this has become my favourite K-series.
Man I barely got into Korean drama but I have seen nothing but great shows. First - Signal, Itaweon class, Kingdom, Moment of eighteen, Who are you School 2015 and now this. Extracurricular is the best I have seen and I can't think any other Korean show would top this. The main character was just a loner in high school and just wanted to live a normal life so he decided to do something shady. Gyuri is my favorite character though and she made this show the compelling. I wanted to see Jisoo have a badass scene like Gyuri described him(he thinks he is a puppy but he is a wolf) but I get that is not the point. The other 2 characters were pretty good too. Also Mr. Lee was a badass character. This gave me The end of the fucking world vibes. I really wish to have a season 2 as I am not a fan of open endings.
i would advise you to watch sky castle - the actor that plays oh jisoo in this drama plays a supporting role in that drama too! it's a dark series focused on four wealthy families and their ventures regarding college entrance examinations, private education and the medical field. an excellent drama just like 'extracurricular'!
