No. The coL roster would turn up to events and we'd already know weeks before who was going to win lol. That's how dominant they were. You could argue that OpTic in the beginning of AW felt kind of the same but at the end of AW they were getting beat by FaZe.
They won 7/8 events and the one event they lost they got 2nd. They were dominant with karma but not to the same extent. They easily would have won champs with clay too in BO2 or ghosts.

Obviously optic had them in placements and a champs win but there is a ton of cool history you could go over . Attach and zooma forming after Aw champs to the huge trade with Eunited with clay. You got season 1 playoffs in ww2 that killed forced optics change. Idk I get hella nostalgic for the pre franchise days and faze was my squad before my hometown Seattle got a squad :). I think the top two rosters of all time are obviously the Col/EG roster and Optic however you want to rank them. The following three are a bit trickier. I think Faze in CW has to be 3rd. I dont think faze in mw should be on the list because they didn’t win champs and Dallas peaked higher. Dallas is probably 4th. 5th is definitely a hard convo with teams like Fariko, Eunited in Bo4, Envy, Faze in AW. I think for how inconsistent Envy was they don’t make the top 5. I would go with Eunited in 5th. They won back2back tournaments and placed fairly well the entire year outside of Fort Worth which was the Rampart event.

Col was a noticeable better SnD team than the optic dynasty not to mention col won 12 chips plus a ring in 2 titles whereas optic won 18 across 3 and a half titles. 1 and a half more years and only 6 more chips doesn’t seem obvious to me that optic was better.
