My great grandmother was from the UK. My grandmother (and great Aunt, her sister) lived with us during the fall and winter seasons. Then, later in my life, they both lived with us full-time. I used to make my grandma tea every evening and she is the one that taught me not to put the milk in until the tea is fully brewed.

She sounds very much like a fellow Northerner, her accent is very distinctive and sounds like a Yorkie (Yorkshire) LOL, she's so right as far as the brews are concerned! Tea or Coffee drinkers will take it as it comes! A popular response here up North when asked "how do you like it"? is usually "warm and wet" hahaha Off to look for her on YT now as I'm very intrigued... thanks for introducing her to us Gayle xx

I tried to record Timmy yesterday but was about 10 people deep back, so you couldn’t see a thing nor hear him. I’ll try again today. Yes, I saw the deckle edge trimmer! It’s on my must have list! ❤️
How about a coffee-like color...that would be an easy way to control stencils & perfect an even or blotchy background!! It could even have the coffee-toffee scent/ different scent different color!
Dyan, i know ur busy but ive torn the internet looking for this answer. I have all ur products but struggle w the orig paints. They become my worst pages due to uneven paint, too much paint or fibers throughout the pg. But urs r beautiful. Do you gesso ur pages 1st (9x11 journals)????? If so, what type? I use baby wipes over Gesso & i always want to cry : ( Im at least 20 vids in & no mention of gesso vs gesso. Do wipes brand matter?? I thank u as i have almost every paint & spray.
I don’t know that Dyan will watch this, Karen, but I will tell you that it looked like some pages were grasped and others not, so slightly different results. The new paint she was working with is slightly translucent but as she added more layers it became more and more covered, if that makes sense. ❤️

U never know..Jane Davenport responded to help me over her paint set that wouldnt work right : ) But at 3am i found a text where Dyan talks about how paints can thicken & dry. Well that was the prob!! I sprayed some water in ea like she said & they performed like different paints! Thx again!

I bought a handmade journal on Etsy and it was listed as a 'Dylusions inspired journal ' and it used all of Dyans Journal cards and collage elements
