Simplified Chrome Trim Installation on Early VW Beetle using 3M Double Sided Mounting Tape

Demonstration, Tricks and tips for Chrome Trim Installation on a 1954 VW Beetle that had been previously modified to the "Cal look" (no chrome, body filled and painted over mounting holes). Rather than re-drill all the holes, we use 3M Double Sided Mounting Tape.

Awesome! My 72 still has the holes for the trim, but I’ll likely use this method anyway as it will keep water from leaking in through the holes. Thanks for the tip! BTW…love the side marker flags!
