A day out in Universal didn't go according to plan. After queuing up for 1 hour and 40 minutes for our first ride on Hagrids of the trip the ride broke down on us and we had to be evacuated off the ride which took another half hour.
The first time that happened to us, we did get 2 fast passes for Hagrids as compensation and some great behind the scenes footage though :-)
We had a great burger in Circus McGurkus first though which was sooo good.
Ending the day off in Walmart and heading back to the Rosen Inn all made for a really memorable day

More of a numb bum than anything else really 🤣 didn't help that we were actually above the drop but tho to be honest but the fast passes made up for it 😁
Yeah, being on the part that drops and never knowing when it's going to start and drop was abit crazy. Everyone sat there bracing themselves 😂

September can't come quick enough. And were already looking daily at next May and Sept. Virgin had abit of an offer on this weekend

You can find prepared meats in sauces (like bbq pulled pork and such) in the meat department, usually with mashed potatoes and pickles ! You probably would only find chicken tikka at a place like Whole Foods. But they would have tons of wrap filling options on their hot foods bar! Love the vids

We found some pulled beef and pork but chicken tikka doesn't seem to be much of a thing out there. I really liked the rotisserie pulled pork but they don't seem to do it anymore, they only had the chicken
That burger and curly fries look so good. Never eat in Universal before, hungry now.

$18 doesn't sound too bad, think we paid more at shake shack
I can't remember how much shake shack was, definitely get more for your money than at shake shack
No luck with hagrids for you 2....at least you got a few fast passes...... those burgers looked amazing,will try them but will be sharing .....no danger we will eat a whole 1 each
The passes were amazing mate, we got on one in 9 minutes using the pass the next day. Yeah those burgers were enough for the full days food to be honest but omg they were good
No regrets but didn't eat for the rest of the day 😂

Holy heck I need to try that burger! 🤤 omg, we got stranded on Hagrids last October right next to the animatronic of him battling a beast, same thing, stuck for 30 minutes, they gave us a small bottle of water and one fast pass, Craig, I missed what the guy said, why does it keep breaking down? ? Great content as always, thank you both 👍
cheers Stu, much appreciated. yeah he did say it was something that happens alot. I've since watched a few videos about it and it turns out Hagrids runs at nowhere near capacity because of how complicated it is and that's one of the reasons the queues are so long, they can in theory run 3 more trains but they choose not to.
The places it's designed to stop are not ideal, on the drop, the arse blaster bend being the worst 😂

@@nikimott lol...I am a bit of a chunky monkey and was panicking if I could get out and get off, interesting though when we first got on, I wanted the side-car but my frame was too big for it so had to swap with my partner, trouble is my arms didn't feel long enough to grab the bike's handles. Trying a sugar free diet for our return in September.
Another good video 😁 good tip on the dilute drink we were doing that in 2019, we took Robinsons equivalent with us. Aldi does their own version and B&M does Fruitella flavours. Once again awesome video many thanks.

In April while I was in Harry Potter`s Forbidden Journey the ride stoped and the lights went on, I ended up looking to the ceiling for like 5 minutes until it started moving again. I was very close to the dragon`s head when it happened lol it was a bit scarry.
Hopefully it wasn't breathing smoke on you all the time 🤣
That doesn't sound like an ideal place. We were on the bit that drops to the track below. No one dared move and we were constantly braced in case it burst into life and dropped us 😂
@@carbslayer haha the smoke stopped, but it kept roaring very loud... Hey do you guys ever consider visiting Kennedy Space Center? Cool stuff there, and seeing the Space Shuttle Atlantis for the first time was mind blowing, but I'm into to this kind of thing, dont know about you.
