I love social media in moderation.
It’s fine for adults.
I just deleted mine yesterday. It's a total time sucker, and my time is too valuable to be wasted on other people's business.
I laughed so hard I almost cried when Andy called out his brothers. 😂 "I think it's because you haven't heard my voice, because you guys have been talking for the last 45 minutes straight!" 👏👏👏👏 😂😂 I was thinking it in my head and Andy said it out loud. That is what makes Andy great.
They take over so much lol it's even more confusing listening only because Matt and especially Joey...I think... just talk over each other.
Yeah I’ve noticed that they interrupt Andy a lot. They should let him speak
Yas! I think Andy is the most reasonable and logical one. Matt and Joey just complain about everything and miss the past - it's not really entertaining. Honestly, I would like to hear a podcast with just Andy lol

Poor Andy can't get a word in. I love listening to everyone cut each other off cause it reminds me of my family all the time. Im portuguese and I'll never forget the 1st time my husband (boyfriend at the time) call my house and asked me what's going on, what's with all the yelling.....I told him we're not yelling this is us talking I can see it now that we are a loud bunch.😅

Andy could play Johnny Depp in a documentary or movie of him or he could play Depp's son. They really look like alike.
Jennifer Gardner said to her kids “show me scientific facts that social media is good for you” and then she would talk to them about have any social media accounts . I think that is very smart.
That is one reason why I love interviews with her. She’s very real. And She’s right. You can tell she puts a lot of thought into parenting her children.
This was such a great episode. So many truths and laughs.

Loving how Andy seems all Yoda and zen and Joey and Mathew are just so hyper and banter like it’s nothing it’s so natural for them lol. Loving the stories from there childhood the most. This is not just a pod cast it’s a trip back to the good ole days with singing and commercial tunes that are the greatest 😂❤

Matthew came up with a crazy list of child actors/stars in his same age range like Macaulay Culkin, Elijah Wood, Jake Gyllenhall, Matt's castmates from Boy Meets World, also I guess you can say Justin Timberlake, Ryan Gosling, & Britney Spears....just to name a few I know there's a whole bunch more....
"Cilantro?" LMAO! Baby Andy as Jabba the Hut made me laugh so hard. That visual was just GOLD. And Joe's imitation of Donald Duck. This was a really good episode.
I love how each of you always wind up looking done with each other throughout each episode 😂
Matt has an awesome heart & mind. Really, all three guys are amazing and I think their parents did an excellent job. I'm not part of their family but am listening to this with such pride and wish them the VERY best. So glad I accidentally stumbled upon this podcast and look forward to watching more! (This is only the second episode I have seen and they've already got my attention.)

When they were talking about the Millie vanilli effect (celebs taking their lives bc they didn’t make it in the industry), Matt was definitely talking about Jonathan Brandis (RIP😔🕊️) because Jonathan was the same age/in the same “class” as Matt. 😢
Brandis was born in April 1976 and is the same age as Joey not Matt - I think you meant Joey instead
My 2 brothers are 10 and 13 years older then me as well. So I can feel Andy's growing up issue's.
I’m the oldest, but when it’s my Mom and my sister (she was raised with my mom for much longer) and I get together, I’m Andy…😭😤
Guys thanks for the pod today. I lost my teenage nephew to suicide a month ago. Social media is so tough on teens today. I myself was a 90s teen and I feel what Matt said about valuing his anonymity. Respect for you guys and how you have handled fame

I wish my kids could have grown up in the 80s when I did. Life was simple we were sort of limited and naive. No one walking around distracted with phones and cameras. Self image wasn’t so important, imagination was our entertainment, figuring it all out was on us, making smart choices knowing no one would bail us out it Made us self reliant and learn how to develops relationships. Their world today is just a lazy, immediate satisfaction, no common sense and sense of self importance. It’s really sad.

Social Media is fine for adults - we remember life without it & we can disconnect when we want to. Kids don’t know how to make this distinction and disconnect. They are constantly getting hits of dopamine & adrenaline & they are literally addicted. It has totally ruined communication & social interactions.
Poor Andy -I’m the youngest, too! I rarely got a word in when I was a kid 😂🙃

It’s not youngest, it’s just personality type. I’m middle child and this is me and my sisters because they are louder and talk a lot more than me.

I agree about social media being all about numbers. I deleted my social media 2 years ago after been on it 10 years, it was too much comparison & pressure to feel & be a certain way. That’s why the 90s were the best it was the happiest decade (I think). Thanks for another great episode! ☺️

Just found this podcast yesterday and have been binging ever since. I have a sister Joey's age I'm Matt's age and then a little sister(35). I can relate so much. To answer the beans question, my faves are baby beans and lima beans (very similar). I usually go for black eyed peas with bacon, though, over the beans. Maybe it’s a southern thing, 🤷♀️. Also, I got lucky in the social media issues, bc I’m an elder millennial that had a kiddo after HS. He didn’t really have social media influence until his teen years as an older Gen Z-er. He’s now about to be 21 and we bond over memes, funny tiktoks, and occasionally gifs. My nieces are a few years younger and were way more influenced by living on the socials. I do find it interesting that Gen Z weren’t interested more or less in getting their driver’s license when my generation or higher couldn’t WAIT until 16. I’m thinking the influence of being social online doesn’t lend to leaving your WiFi and going to the mall or restaurants or wherever with your friends without your parents. It’s a fascinating shift in culture. Also, as a childhood/teen athlete and medical professional, I knew exactly what Joey meant by Salonpas. Good stuff!

Hey Guys, I absolutely love your podcast and I look forward to Fridays just to listen to it. Sometimes I even listen to the Podcast more than once. I can relate to everything you say. I was having a conversation with my mom this morning that I wish I could go back in time and live in the time when I was a teenager because nowadays everyone seems to be so selfish and on edge, but yes I think social media is to blame. I have social media, but I don't post very often and I don't interact very often because the constant need for likes and followers drives me crazy.
Ya'll are hilarious. I am a 67 y/o lady and I love watching you guys. Your love for each others in awe inspiring. ❤❤😊
BTW, salon pas are flipping awesome. I used to work at Sherwin Williams paint company, slinging 50 lb buckets around, multiple times a day cause I was in the commercial store; which gets the most business. Those things saved my back on many occasions when I would overdue it, keeping up with all the buff guys 😅 clearly I used to like a challenge. Now that I'm a stay at home mom of 2 boys under 3 yrs old, I use them when I overdue it, running around after them 😆
