Project Eve is now called Stellar Blade and it's PS5 exclusive.
As a PC gamer, that's dissapointing. Do you know any similar games you could recommend? Something with good graphics, beautiful 3D waifu and decent combat.
@@user-eu5ol7mx8y Buy a PS5, it worth.
@@user-eu5ol7mx8y Don't worry it will come out on pc later on, it's extra money for Soyny.

Project Magnum is now The First Descendant by Nexon Games coming to all platforms excluding Switch.
I think you have to make a new video soon because many of these projects will change over time. SIE held a PlayStation Develop event in S.Korea in late March with 200 developers and publishers from S.Korea which is the biggest develop event for Sony since Japan in 1993 with 250 developers and publishers. Sony has their eyes on Pearl Abyss for investment as reported by Korean media in June.
SIE Korea restructured when In-ho Koh left the company in 2021 and being replaced by Mina Lee who is very aggressive and competent leader. They have account manager for third party relations, Seongok Jeon, which is his first role to work with Korean developers in addition to his old role working with Japanese developers.
So these projects we see in this video can change quick like what happened to Shift Up's Project Eve.
Oh no, sad to know that Soyny is trying to gain exclusivity for Korean games, dont wanna buy their crappy console and having to wait an extra year or more to play them sucks
@@wallacesousuke1433 SIEJ subsidiary was removed and business operations were moved to SIEK in S.Korea for M&A investment opportunities including China. They hired a global account director this year who will lead relationship with developers in S.Korea and China. Its office will be located in SIEK.
In other words, SIEJ lost power to SIEK because Sony has no plans to make acquisitions in Japan. XDEV controls 2nd party partners in Japan now. Polyphony Digital and Team Asobi are the only studios from Japan that can expand and grow.
Moving the business operations to SIEK does not mean they will make moves on publishers. They will continue to foster 2nd party studios which some of them will lead to M&A. Invest and nurture relationship with publishers is for changing the market from mainly PC and mobile to add console into the mix.
NCsoft, Neowiz Games, Pearl Abyss and Com2us are publishers who want to change their business model. They have had plans before to enter the console game market but they have been slow to adopt it. PS4 last generation grew significantly in S.Korea and even beyond publishers expectations despite not have supported consoles. In order for publishers to grow they have to enter the console market and become a publisher on a global basis. They are way behind Japanese publishers in value because they have only until now focused on Korean market with MMORPG and mobile games.
Korean media outlets said when this gen began: "If platform holders can get local developers on their side you will see many PC and mobile players in S.Korea who will migrate to console"
But local developers don't come by itself, you have to put effort to reach out to them. PlayStation is the first platform holder who made this impactful move. It does also help with a local team and office in the market.
Sony's PlayStation growth is pushing fate in S.Korea, China and India. Local teams there who will nurture relationship with developers will change the market as we know it.
When you hired someone like Bao Bo in China you'll see studios like S-Game you never knew existed. PlayStation is a platform holder so their interest is to only grow PS Studios brand into a empire than go after a major publisher. They are not going to change their 2nd party strategy when it has worked for them since Naughty Dog was SIE America's first studio to join Sony's 2nd party partner program in the past.
The only difference is now that America, Western Europe and Japan have become saturated markets. Sony wants to be first to make effort in new markets like S.Korea, China and India.
To summarize everything:
Sony wants 2nd party studios and build relationship with publishers in Asia.
Hey Korea! Do us a favor! Make most of these games coop or 4 player coop online! We’ve been asking devs to give us this option forever and they seemed to have abandoned playing with your friends. We want to play with friends goddamn it! More multiplayer coop games please! For the love of god please!
Try Nioh 1 and 2, Monster Hunnter World and Rise as well as Elden Ring and other Souls games :D
