A girl with GIANT SNAILS - All of my giant pet snails!
Instead of an 'all my animals' video, here's an ALL MY SNAILS video for the time being! This includes all 7 of my Giant land snails that I keep as pets from smallest to largest. Check out my other videos for basic african land snail care guides!
These guys seem to be becoming more popular as a pet recently so just be aware that if you are thinking about owning one for these gorgeous creatures, do your SPECIES SPECIFIC research. Also, these snails can live to around 10 years old, if you can't commit, please don't buy x

I always think that snail and slug faces look like kitten faces! I have had Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches for sevral years, and I recently got Vietnamese stick insects.

Im so jealous! I wanna get a big snail too but i live in greece and my parents wont let me order one, i think they have their reasons, but i love your snails!

Sorry for being abit late hope Sam is doing well now, GALS are nutorious for being fussy. He may be fussy over the calcium sources, which could be causing his shell to be brittal as he grows into it. Try to isolate him some food with calcium suppliment powder see how he gets along
Sams doing fab but that’s a great suggestion, I never thought of that. I’ve tried cuttle fish, powder on food and they have oyster shell flakes in their substrate and calcium cakes when I make them. I upped his protein intake a little too and he seems not too bad now fortunately. Thanks for the tip and hopefully others will see it if they have the same problem 🤞
Loved the video! So, I have the same issue with shell clefts in my mysteries as well. Same as Sam, kept in the SAME exact conditions as some with Stunning shells, plenty of Protein and calcium both ingested and in the water. It blows my mind too and can only assume it's something in their genes that is causing that to happen to the shell.
You have some GORGEOUS snails, love them all! Land snails are definitely on my list of one day keeping!

U can name the big snails, Sarah and Emily. I think those are good names

Hi re: the ovum shells, I've been advised to use oystershell and egg shell for their calcium needs and not cuttle fish. Maybe something worth trying?
Hey. They have oyster shell flakes and egg shell also. Fortunately since the video there’s been a good bit of improvement with sams shell🥳🥳. Thanks so much for the suggestion though! X
