    Never delete these videos, there is an incredible wealth of information in them for people like me who intend on owning their trucks for their lifetime. Especially considering I've had that recall on my fuel pump too... After having Toyota try and fix some damage on the front I will never let them touch my truck ever again! They did a horrendous job, scratched the door, and on the return trip scratched the bed too without fixing the scratch I asked them to fix! Absolute buffoonery of a repair shop.

      So one dealership makes a mistake and you blame all of Toyota? Thats nonsensical. I've been to 2 Toyota dealerships here in Las Vegas and both have been excellent. As far as scratches go its a truck , meant for offroadidng, so scratches are going to happen.

    You’re one of the only people on RUclips that aren’t afraid to mess your newer Tacoma and on top of that you document your mistakes. Other Tacoma RUclipsrs I’ve seen talk about mods and repairs but are never getting their hands dirty, they instead take it to a shop and vlog the repair 😂

    Man I feel you on liking the autos more offroad. No problem just cruising on dirt roads with a stick shift, but it's soo much less work with an auto to get past the really steep and rocky stuff.

    • @MS-mr4zm
      @MS-mr4zm 2 года назад

      On a smaller vehicle tho like a wrangler or reg cab midsize truck, new bronco, etc I feel like a stick shift offers more control & “feel” for what’s going on underneath ya, also….if you’re in right rock crawling type off-roading manual has many advantages like ability to quickly alternate back/forth between 1st & R…which can really stress out an auto trans, being able to quickly drop into neutral is nice too. Advantage of an auto is obviously “2 foot driving” be able to stabilize the truck w/ the brake & load suspension while simultaneously giving it gas.

    I would've just welded a little tab across the inside diameter of the pipe post cat to distrupt the flow a little bit. All the post cat sensor is sensing for is a change in exhaust flow. It doesn't care if the change comes from paladium honey comb or if it comes from a half inch wide by 2.5 inch rectangle of sheet metal welded across the inside of the pipe. As long as the airflow is lessened it wont throw a code or cause any tune issues.

    Another fantastic vid Mike. Just love seeing how all this stuff fits together and actually works. I’m learning a lot about my Truck from your repairs. Your truck looks amazing considering where it was when u first received it. Got to admit that I was sceptical on day one but your hard work is paying off big time. Keep up the great work.
