I've been doing my 'bullet journal' for a year now and I kind of like it - although I don't have any of those fancy lettering or illustrations, just simple tables and notes to keep up with my work and youtube channel. I really like the simplicity of your journal for 2018, right up my street :)
I love the simplicity and plan on simplifying mine too. One page that I'd add as a monthly is "things I learned" or "things to remember". I want to be able to make bullet notes/ reflections from each month and read them at the end of the year. Have a lovely 2018!
I really like the pastel pink and white vibes in your background I appreciate how approachable you make Bullet Journal-ing seem. I fell down a "BuJo" K-hole earlier this year and got SO overwhelmed that I almost ended up scrapping the whole thing. Something I tried that worked well for me (someone who is not arty at all) was using magazine cutouts and kind of going with the collage route rather than doodles. I also included some perfume ads that made the whole notebook smell lovely. :) Hope you're having a happy holiday season!

i am so late to the party! Just watched Lily's last year 2017 Bullet Journal video and read all the things I can find on bullet journal's website. The "lack of fancy color blocking and illustration" totally motivated me to look into this bullet journal idea. Even before I started drafting my own bullet journal (which I am doing now), I could already imagine how this would help my work organization! I have always had listed all the to-do's and crossed out what I have completed. But there are always things that never got crossed out because of their low priority and urgent projects popping up. I really like the migration idea in bullet journal! Now my year objectives, monthly goals and weekly tasks make so much more sense to me and they are so easy to keep track on! Thank you for introducing me to this whole new world!!!

And I'll try to make mine simple and practical as well - it will be less stressful and more enjoyable. After all, our bullet journals should help and represent US. Thank you for sharing this! A leaner journal makes so much sense. When I taught school, my lesson plans were so packed. I wish we could have organized our own rather than using the standard ones. I would have liked the luxury of tweaking it to make it my own. Good for you!

Such a simple, straightforward, streamlined bullet journal. It reminds me very much of the look of my own. I don't have the time or desire to use mine for artistic outlets I just need something to help me keep my life in order. Every little bit helps. So nice to see there are other people who bullet journal like I do.

I so feel the urge to buy a label maker now. I personally use the Traveler's Notebook system combined with a Bullet Journal so I have no use for it in my journal, but I see so many possibilities for getting the house organized! Lovely video and nice to see you being honest about what works and what doesn't and about not going overboard with decorations and such. Very cool! Have a nice day :)
I love minimal bullet journals! I use about three colors to do mine so I can divide things with color instead of lines, less stressful for me somehow, so my journal is pretty and colorful, but it’s just categorized daily to-do lists, very basic, very easy

I teach elementary School and I’ve been doing a bullet journal since January 2016. However I track mine with the school year. Are use it to track all different kinds of information including student rewards, parent contacting, etc. It helps me be more purposeful and focus on all my students.Thanks for introducing the idea I really found it to be useful.
Lily! You're who inspired me to start bullet journaling in august and I'm starting a fresh book for Jan. Love you're no nonsense style. I print patterns (like marble) on a4 size stickers and use a guillotine to cut them into strips then write on them each week etc. It's so quick and simple but makes bullet journals look much more artistic. love you're channel!! 😘🦄 Merry Christmas!!! x

Love your setup! I use mine much more for a daily/weekly planner and to do list, but I've always used and loved your content planner/scheduler for my own videos/posts. It's always been so helpful to me ever since you first shared it!
I also didn't finish my bullet journal this year, so for 2018 I bought one of the normal books, rather than the bullet journal one as it has a lot less pages! Although, I did accidentally by the squared one, rather than dotted. It also meant I could go for a colour - I went for red, because I'm having a red moment but also because I thought it would be easier to identify in my bag, or amongst other books
I started bullet-journaling after I watched your video last year. I love it! I'm not really into all the fancy decorative elements...I'm not good at that kind of thing, and if I spend a lot of time making something pretty, it will be too "precious" for me, and I won't use it as much. I love how your journal is very youtuber-minded. I think I want to use my bullet journal exclusively for that. So far I've failed at using it for tons of other life-tracking, but I do need something to help me keep my youtube stuff in order.
I'm not interested in getting my own bullet journal but I love how the new year encourages organisation! I'm a teacher so need a planner with fairly specific parameters. This was a nice video though and interesting to see how you organise your content.

Yes I do but because I’m not necessarily at my desk making lists every day I don’t do a weekly layout, I just do half a page for a day whenever I need it.
