What is the brand for industry standard? My optician only sells Nikon or Essilor lenses so I want to make sure I get the right protection they were selling me on crizal but I don’t know if they have anything else
I feel terrible about my Crizal purchase now as it was so expensive. I think its unethical for people to sell these to people when it isn't up to industry standard.
Optician recommended to me Easy Pro Crizal.I have already told her that I 'am software developer.I just got mine today as easy pro.Has anyone know that Easy Pro whether enough to protect for long time PC use
Crizal Easy Pro is Essilors revamp of their crizal EC. They did NOT add any bluelight protection into the coating. This is not the coating i would recommend for long time PC use. HOWEVER.... if your optician added ''blueprotect'' onto the substrate of the lens, you would have the blue light protection still, which would make the coating selection acceptable.
I have a set and was charged a lot of money for this pair of glasses. After 9 months of home and office use they are literally so scratched and hard to clean I cant believe these are actually what I ordered. I have a set of a different brand that I have used for work enviroment and have put them through hell and they are still no scratches and clean very easy. I been thinking I didnt get what I paid for. Im positive I ordered transitions and they arent. I dont know what I should do?
Any recommendations for lenses that a best for night time driving? The Zeiss Drive Safe are the only ones I can find but not any customer reviews on them.
I bought a pair of glasses with crizal, the worse purchase of my life, the glass scratch so fast even though I only used the special microfiber to clean it. I care so much my glasses, but definitely I feel frustrated.
Thanks for the comment! It is possible for sure, and your optician CAN order it like this. However it doesn't mean that it is the best combination for you. Crizal preventia does not add and bluelight protection in addition to the transitions lens. The transitions portion itself absorbs about the same amount of bluelight as a combination of blueprotect with preventia. If you came to my store, we would have resolved the same as your optician, but with a different explanation.
It may be possible, but also know that certain companies dont offer every single combination of lens materials and add-ons. Your best bet is to go to a private practice (locally owned and operated- not a big box store, not a "name chain" place.
Please help which lens is suitable for me as a photo editor who uses photoshop I need the same colour as the original no yellow filter..crizal sapphire or crizal prevencia ? Please answer 🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@miguelzapata9460 Maybe Essilor Blue UV Capture would be an option if your optician has it. (My optician doesn't have it) There is no color alterations.
Rock is more scratch resistant and I was told that that Sapphire has around a 2% better light transmissibility compared to rock. Sapphire is still considered the best, but barely.
Essilors new coating, CRIZAL ROCK is the best on the market. Its the first industrial grade scratch coat WITH anti-glare. When pairing it with blueprotect is the best combination.

Thank you for showing us what happens to the lenses after all the abuse. Very informative.

Hey! And what lenses are you wearing in the vid? Im loving the slightly blueish tint
Why does my crizal prevencia not have a purple hue? I got them at LensCrafters.

Nothing better than drive safe for that.

Both have the yellow
I’m also looking for one that doesn’t have that yellow tint but can’t find one with good lenses
Zeiss Duravision platinum also has it

How well does Crizal Rock hold up compared to Crizal Sapphire?
Rock is more scratch resistant and I was told that that Sapphire has around a 2% better light transmissibility compared to rock. Sapphire is still considered the best, but barely.
Can you suggest any lens better than crizal prevencia?
