    It is really scary to watch American democracy being threatened - particularly by people who claim to have the moral high ground (They don't.).

    That corporations are people has got to be one of the most absurd rights that isn’t part of the constitution.

    Children need to study Roger Williams. He wrote about the danger to faith posed by its entanglement with politics. He founded Rhode Island. The colony was chartered to be open to all religions.

    Fundamentalists never realize that ancient Israel was a legally enforced religious Theocracy like ISIS, and nowhere in the bible does it say to vote
    --- in fact Romans 13 is _against_ the principle of " taxation without representation is tyranny "
    Oddly, Evangelicals ignore Jesus's clear answer to Pontius Pilate that:
    " My kingdom is not part of this world "

      What do you mean with Roman 13?

    • @dvonzosch461
      @dvonzosch461 2 года назад

      @@celestialodysseies Read Romans 13:1- 4, which was used to support " the divine right of Gov't/ Kings/ authoritarians
      It was used to keep the idea of voting seem " anti God's arrangement "
      It's diametrically opposed to the principle of:
      " A Government of the people, by the people, and for the people "
      It's also opposed to:
      " Taxation without representation is Tyranny "

    @10:57 many myths by racists are important to their continued quest for power. The myth of a christian nation, the myth of the lost cause...
