The narration of the lady was almost inaudible unluckily. Also the narration of the station president was only given by the camera microphone and obviously not by his headset itself. Therefor this was also inaudible as soon as the alternator machine plus the water and air circuits were fully running. Maybe they should upload a copy of the live version with the narrations being inserted post-production into the video, having the machine audio lowered during the narration. (this is only a proposal of course)
This is truly a piece of living history. Just amazing! Thank you so much for keeping radio TX alive like this! As a former radio operator in the Swedish navy In the 80's we called up "RGB" in Sweden which was a general call for contact with any military coastal radio station in Sweden. Any of the listening military coastal radio stations could answer with their own call sign. And off we whent! 73 to you all! ❤🇸🇪
Camilla Lugnet, Managing Director World Heritage Grimeton, speech: Now with the transmitter running and some of you tuning in and preparing for receiving this year’s message of peace, I also would like to welcome you to this year’s UN-day celebration! The radio station was built 100 years ago, with the purpose to shorten distances between nations and humans. A work that has continued since then... Today as a world heritage site, working under the umbrella UNESCO, one of our most important missions are to make people aware that we are all part of a global community with much that unite us for example our common heritage, like a radio station on the Swedish country side witnessing the needs of mankind always have had in fast and reliable communication despite nationality. After a year we never could have predicted and consequences we are still not aware of, we think it’s even more important to remind us of this. We are all part of a global context and it’s only by working across the boarders we will be able to solve many of the challenges we are facing now and have in front of us in the future. But the globalization also enriches so much more, a variation of music for example. So tonight, when the beautiful tones of ”our old lady” has tuned out we look forward to fill the transmitter hall with lovely tones of Anna-Louise Ekman who pro-bono will perform songs from Sweden, Italy and Brazil in the “Songs from the Vault”. So with this I will hand over to Jan and the others again and hope you will have a great evening and don’t forget to stay safe!
The speech is also interesting but I'm looking for the message? I can't find a transcript of it on your website. Is that true? Also do you habe a clean simple film about operating the station. In the livestream so many knobs etc were turned and it would be interesting to hear what's going on. If it's too loud at the same time you could do a voice over later. Also please use a tripod. Would love to hear more from your station

Sound was a disaster, impossible to understad what the people were saying. Also no audio with the transmission!? Why not?? Last time you transmitted it was working. Please fix these issues until next time.
It was a great experience to see this fantastic machine in action, even from remote. Maybe you can try to mute the sound from the camera while the speakers are talking. It was hard to understand the explanations after the machines were started.
I spent days investigating this phenomenon, I even called an electric power company in the city of Tucuruí in the state of Pará, trying to find out what sounds were generated in the electrical network, but the engineers did not know how to answer me.

Fantastic effort, copied via SDR but still fun. Keep those machines alive guys! FT8 will NEVER replace good CW!!

would love to have a wireless mic on the presenter. Or atleast a conection to his headset mic
They do have a wireless system in place... they just didn't figured out a way to pipe the audio Into the stream...
The sound is hard to hear... try using a lapel mic or a head set mic next time... all you hear is echo...
Exactly 100 years ago, we had another pandemic. Here is my question.
Low sound. Next time improve audio,
