Exactly! But that’s what makes it interesting to watch I guess… I literally had to pause the doc because I couldn’t believe how curt Martha seemed but they just cut the video to make it come off that way ! She was actually way more poised in this segment than they made it seem
Is bc at that time it was felt like that. Literally a lot or hit pieces would make fun of that moment for a long time.even the martha inc movie (which makes her look crazy) recreated this scene
I hate how the Netflix portrayed her in this scene. Exactly why I came to RUclips to watch the REAL scene which was absolutely appropriate. She was very respectful.
Yeah but back then everyone was saying how aggressive she was during this interview (which she wasn't. She was very calm and answered all questions) and if you watch the made for tv movie about it and they reenacted this interview, the actress was very angry and snippy saying "I just want to make my salad!!!" So I think the Netflix document wanted to show how people viewed that and they did a very good job with it.
0:07 🔪🥬 the sound of her cutting while she’s talking speaks volumes lol. I wished Netflix would’ve included that in the documentary. I remember watching this with my parents
Netflix brought us all here, so let's move past the obvious, this is just shameful the way they blindsided her, she was there to make a salad for Christ's sake, not talk about the insider trading scandal and allegations, and she told that dumb lady 3 different times that she couldn't talk about it, how many times does someone have to say, "I can't talk about it" before you get it through your thick skull and back off and move on. And, wow, now having seen this clip in full of what actually happened compared to what Netflix's "Martha" made appear what happened, that the "journalist" only asked her about the allegations twice, when it was actually three times, and then singling out the small part of her saying, "I wanna focus on my salad" like that was the only thing she said and snapped at her when saying it, is completely misleading and disgraceful on the part of whoever made this documentary. Just goes to show you how easily pictures and videos can be altered and manipulated and made to look or appear like something entirely different than what actually occurred. The News Media tends to do this a lot, actually more than a lot, I'd say close to all the time. This is where the old saying, "A picture is worth a thousand words" comes from. What person A sees and perceives isn't necessarily gonna be what person B sees or perceives or even person C and so on, and this especially is the case when it's been altered or manipulated in an attempt to make person A, B, or C see something completely and totally different then what actually occurred and took place, little thing we like to call propaganda. Just pathetic.
I was literally going to comment this bc I paused the doc to look up this tv segment bc I couldn’t believe how nasty they made her seem with their editing of it in the documentary! Very glad I wasn’t the only one with a bit of critical thinking… 🤔
Netflix made this such a bug deal, but the way Martha said it was so professional and calm that I almost missed it; I was waiting for some big outburst.
For people saying that Netflix made Martha look like she snapped and that her response wasn't that serious, let's say she DID snap at the Early Show anchor. She would have had every right to do so. This woman was irritating Martha and even the way Netflix portrayed her, she looked like any person who didn't want to talk about a certain subject. She had enough.
Dressing recipe from this clip. Looks tasty, minus the fish sauce. shallots 1 c peanut buuter 3/4 c lime juice shredded ginger 1/4 c vegan fish sauce 1/4 c sesame oil 1/2 c coconut aminos or soy sauce
Martha was going to town with that knife at the very beginning. Hearing her chopping those veggies as the tv anchor talks about the stock trading. LMAO. The tv anchor was bold as hell for pressing Martha while she had that knife in her hand
Reporters are so desperate to make a name for themselves. Pathetic. Stick her Martha!....actually she handled this vulture very well...didnt loose her cool at all...she controlled the room pretending to like Jane Clayson and being very nice to her...that is a tactic.
Netflix brought me here.
same 😂
Sameeee! 😂
😂😂😂 haha me too
@ no one cares about your opinion.
Me too!!!!
I think she handled this really well. The Netflix doc made it seem like she snapped, but she didn't.
The Cybill Shepherd scene makes this hilarious
Hearing her chop in the background in the beginning is so funny
LMAO! 😂😂
can't believe she kept pressing the subject knowing she had a big knife in her hand lol
😂😂
Exactly my thoughts
So what? Do you think she was going to stab her on camera???
lol
@@SorayaEsfandiary_omg be quiet he was just joking smdh lighten up
They made it seem more aggressive on the Netflix special...

That’s Netflix for ya, they try to exaggerate everything for entertainment value

The media really took her response to the questioning WAAAAY out of proportion. Good grief!

it’s interesting that she’s had a somewhat unsuccessful personal life but such huge success in her career. it really is hard to have both.
I think she lives to work, not works to live. Before her empire, she did all this as a hobby, so this is just her whole life not just work to her.
0:06 Martha loudly chopping an onion while contemplating becoming said onion in prison.
Before the Netflix documentary this video only had like 5 comments, now it has over 70😂welcome all
Ive been looling for this video for 9 years bc of the Martha INC movie and i cant believe someone finally uploaded it. Thanks!!!!!!
lol you can hear her chopping away during the intro!!😂😂
I love how hard Martha is chopping in the beginning over the anchors talking 😂😂
Netflix made this such a bug deal, but the way Martha said it was so professional and calm that I almost missed it; I was waiting for some big outburst.
Listen lady, nevermind the felonies, salad dammit! Salad makes it all go away
3:05 you’re welcome
You can tell the journalist has never made a salad in her life LOL!

i like how shes chopping away as the reporter is yapping away lol.
Oh she should not have let Jane shred that cabbage. Such huge chunks. 😂
I’ve been looking everywhere. Omg I found it.
@@emilinebelle7811 spread the word! She just wants to focus on her salad.

Thank you so much for this!
Netflix made it sound like she lost her composure- she absolutely did not , WTH? Why?
I think Martha handled the interview well.
I thought so too, she was actually more civil and professional than I would have been, Jane Clayson was rude.
That reporter is brave for sayin all that while Martha had that knife in her hand lol

Interesting interview 🫦
Bless you for uploading this
What the hell is going here? Do you expect her to be cheery, preparing food on national television while being asked about an investigation?
Lmaoooo Martha is hilarious
Martha Chopping Away!
Thanks for uploading. This was completely gone from the internet I think.
