Excellent, we have very limited focus right now in this area. It's a fantastic solution to bring loved old cars which generally come with sentiments attached to newer platform, reduce new cars on roads and pollution. pls establish ARAI certification.
COST will play a key role in terms of adaptation by public. I guess e-trio is offering for old Alto ,80 km speed and 180 km range.

Yes it is true. Most of Indian market would converting into EV or dual mode. With rear wheel ev drive, i think it would be possible. Looking forward for part 2 eagerly.

How much would it cost to convert swift Petrol to electric???? And how much time ??
Depends on performance and range needed. Cost will vary from 5 lacs to 20lacs. Totally depends on whether you want a daily drive vehicle, Libby range vehicle; or a race car.
Sir, for old Alto 800 with EV conversion with max speed 100 and range of 250 km what would it cost

Hello. We have been converting cars for years now. However all are used on our private track for testing purpose. We are in the process of certification and will get ARAI AND RTO approval sometime this year. After that we will offer plug and play kits for street use. If you want to convert your vehicle for academic / private premises use, we can provide you a conversion now else after certification only. Thanks

It's great to see this coming together. Have you considered using a coaxial motor and gearbox to get more space for the batteries?

The Rear axle is salvaged and restored from a scrap mahindra
Just out of curiosity would you be able to build an independent rear suspension with the drive train in the rear if needed?...:)

Good Idea to use rear axle bldc motor but if you put the motor in original transmission it will save your time and require less modification
Yes we have done this on a few cars before. But then the point of this car is to slide around and drift. Also to maintain similar weight in the engine compartment with batteries for driving dynamics.
