Are our coaches even coaching up the second and third levels down the depth chart? Here we go again, servicing the prima'donas at the expense of the whole team. No other explanation for the O-line debacle against Missouri.
Evident to me is Howard's ability to - 'extend plays' - allowing those 5* WR's - that bit of extra time to separate -?- which McCord could not do ? -- -- -- A huge advantage -- in addition -- to his run threat !!!
I hope Day and company designed better route trees and pass plays...cuz last couple years sucked for separation, even with great athletes, 2021 was unreal with chris and garrett
@@oldben1800no offense to Fleming these last two years but clearly isn’t great at separation or being dynamic with the ball. Egbuka as we know wasn’t 100% for almost all last year and Tate was dealing with an injury. With them two, Jeremiah Smith, Brandon Inniss, and a few other speedsters like Bryson Rogers fighting for playing time I expect to see a much more explosive offense.
@@ethancohen7_ I expect the leaders of the offense to continue to play seniority and continue to use no rotation.....because somehow only 3 or 4 out of all the Wideouts can play lol its sad, but they have been killing us these past couple years with the lack of rotation.
@@ethancohen7_ and those are all excuses, if you go watch the tape of 2021, the route trees and designs were simply way better. There was far too much reliance on Marvin last 2 years, and it was mostly just 1 on 1 game, with chris and garrett there were layered developing routes that helped get them open and cross up the defense. Now its just run go's

Knowles also said he wonders about nickel depth. So using a 3 LB package removes the need at times for another nickel.
NO, he'd have to take out one of his beloved safeties. Most teams use a slot receiver which requires a nickel DB
I must be confused I was at the practice Friday and I thought Rashid Sesay was bigger built than the other backs. I was standing near where the running backs were doing their drills and coach had them working on jump cuts and although he’s a big boy he looked like he belongs.

As Birm said, pocket presence is HUGE and what McCord lacked last season. Not talked about enough.
Kyle played scared he would skip reads and go from first option to outlet receiver. Too many times last season the second and third option would be streaking down the field uncovered and they would not get noticed because he already tossed the ball to the outlet receiver.
