Whoever whom say Jason isn't broken most probably never played against one who know the bare minimum of him. I used to play a lot with a cousin of mine who only played Jason and I'd aways lose to him, then one day I decided that I would play Jason too and in just 1 day of practice I've beaten him consistently, as with my main (Cassie) I barely won any game.

Crystalline probably best in the matchup, he can punish Jason more consistently then most of the cast plus he has armor to nullify most cmd grabs. And to top it off he can buffer flash parry an full combo tech throws

Actually Jason not a really good character my opinion his best variation is unstoppable Jason and has the lowest combo potential that why he has those abilities to make up for the limited combos I mean name a pro player to pick Jason in a national championship?
Sonicfox wins multiple tournaments with Jason, Jason is a strong character.

@@soulbender1987 he’s actually not Jason is very slow and his abilities have a slow frame to activate you have to spend a meter in order quickly activate his abilities immediately to form a high damage combo plus the time limit short and I’m not even mentioning the part to he can fall asleep leaving you open to attack.
And just for record before I get anymore replies I said Jason wasn’t great I never said Jason sucked, if you practice with any character and know what your doing you can win matches but I stand by what I said jason a character most pros will not pick

Relentless Jason is dece, but some of his stuff is reactable/punishable.
1. Jason's armored command grabs, the last I remember, hit high generally. (I don't think any of them are mids, but I could be wrong. If none of them are mids, then they can be neutral ducked. Someone correct me if I'm wrong there.)
2. His teleport (armored or otherwise) is definitely reactable since it has a lot of start-up.
3. His two command buffs (Pursuit and Killing Machine, I think?) have long start-up frames too, from what I remember.
I mean, Jason's solid, but he's not Flash Parry Crystalline (Tremor) levels of good. I don't get why Lam is salty.
The hug is a mid command grab..back break isn't tho. I personally think unstoppable is better because his 2 buffs start up decently fast and he gets a free buff every touch and the revive as a whole is one of the most broke mechanics in the game and unstoppable just doesn't have to deal with armor ever because of his green buff
His dbf2 is an advancing mid with no recovery and long startup means nothing when he has so many ways to set it up safely, also him being plus after attempting to tick throw but failing due to hitting you is frankly bs.

Took me exactly 30 plus minutes to master him and he has a simple game
1. Constantly tick throw your oppent to pressure him
2. Disrespect plus frames because he has an amazing down two
3. His best mids are zero on block or atlrast very close which is ridiculous which is why they down 2 so much
4. He has the best command grab in the game, can't duck them and jumping over isn't a option
5. He has multiple ways to get in and it's not hard

03:35 - MKX is hands down the best fighting game since 2015. Its the only game so far you can play ZONING like Deoxys & Starcharger, RUSHDOWN like Butta or Ninja & NEUTRAL like RevetLeafing. In fact MKX always has people coming out with "Low Tiers" far more than any other fighting game.
Bruh Jason is the most privileged character in MKX.
-Only character that has like no recovery on any command grab(most get full combo punished if they go for a tick and the hit of the move lands before the grab
-Gets a damage buff for getting his ass whooped
-Teleport that has very little lag(can still be punished but is deceptive
-Easy bake fisher price combos
-Pursuit(I personally think he shouldn’t be able to block in pursuit considering he can easily set it up in combos
-Armor activation move
-A safe “fuck neutral” near full screen special move
