“I get mad if I don’t get something I want or if I have to stop playing my iPad” 😂 that’s exactly how my son is lol 😆 he’s just started play therapy last week ☺️
These are very helpful ideas. Another one is to put a small stuffed animal on your belly while lying down to teach kids the difference between chest breathing and diaphragmatic breathing. The goal is to make the plush toy rise and fall while in the tummy more than when it’s on the chest.
Very interesting. Please include the therapist name with the video description so I can give you credit in the paper I am writing for my Masters program. Thanks.
Love your videos! I'm really interested in the pretzel breathing technique you demonstrated. You mentioned something about crossing the left and right brain/mid-line. Where can I find more information about this?
It’s so important to do these activities when we are NOT upset! It builds a brain habit that can kick in when we are anxious or upset!
