This is the song that put Toby on the map for me. When I found out he was the guy behind this “Undertale” game I’d been hearing about, that was when I knew I had to play it. And the rest is history…

I’m currently reading Homestuck for the very first time and I’m only on Act 5 Act 2 right now so my opinion will probably change, but so far, the cutscene this song is associated with is by far my absolute favorite. It really brought me to tears when I watched it lol. Nothing so far has topped this for me yet

I cried when I watched this scene too. To this day this is my favorite scene in all media.
I remember hearing this before I actually got to the sound page so when I did it felt WAY more impactful then it already was

IIRC, someone called Hussie out for this at the time and he handwaved it off. I can't remember if it was on the forum or in an online Q&A. If it was the latter, it might be in the Unofficial Collection. But yeah, John's odd anatomy did not go unnoticed when this album first released.
