Pfff. So beautiful!! Haunted tune that gets to you! You are such an inspiration. I play the violin now for 7 months and I manage to play the notes like you play it the first time. But the second time with the vibrato I'm overwhelmed so lively and asthonishing. I hope that I can play it like that one day, and can't wait the day my teacher starts to teach me vibrato!
Thanks Tintaatje. Your inspiration will get you far. Good luck with the vibrato but don't be in too much of a hurry. You'll get there. Baby steps forward. The truth is that it is more challenging to be musical, colorful in playing without vibrato so use this time to learn to phrase, play with dynamics and color to make the sound as nice as possible so that by the time you add vibrato, it will be the icing on the cake. :) Thanks for the kind words.
Can you add "He's a Pirate" to your list? I'd love to be able to play it, but all the music I can find is in F major. Which, as a beginner, is weird on the violin.
I have that done as a project and here is the link. Sorry about the key signature but it's also in the key of D minor. However, it's not that bad with just one flat. fiddlerman.com/2012/01/fiddlermans-international-youtube-project-hes-a-pirate/ You can download the free sheet music from there as well.
Fiddlerman have you thought about doing the "Canon" from J. Pachelbel? That song is so good! I love how smooth it is when you go slur from one note to the other! Here's one of the best versions of the song: ruclips.net/video/es_3F3TLJS0/видео.html
Not so much because I did that as a group project many years ago with the Fiddlerman Forum members: fiddlerman.com/2013/03/fiddlermans-international-pachelbels-canon-group-project/ But maybe I can do it again. :)
Fiddlerman true lol. I think that song sounds more like classical then it does baroque. 😜 Usually when I think of baroque music... I'm thinking like viola music...lol I know there's lots of viola pieces for baroque music 😃
Thank you for making this tutorial available! Fits well with the Lagardspolska, Bergrosa, Gaseborg and Boda Valsen that I enjoy playing.
I'm glad that you liked it.

Thank you so much Pierre! I think you are absolutely right. So baby steps it will be! But boy I like the icing. For now I will enjoy your vibrato!
Thanks
It's like a theme on a fantasy movie! 😱 I would love to buy a copy of the song if available. ❤ Thank you for the beautiful music..👌
Send me a PM with your email address. You can do that through Fiddlerman.com/forum Thanks for the comment.

Fiddlerman it's a good video but nobody was using vibrato....lol maybe you can add the vibrato to it when you do the song again 😎
I like vibrato but it's more stylistically acceptable not to use vibrato with Baroque music. Lot's of debate over this. :)
