@Peter Slow the video down and follow along! You’ll get used to it after more repetition. Good to see what you can work towards! 👍

To tell you the truth 👀🙂☝️ solos are a life saver im a 5'9 in my heels and its often difficult to find male/tall enough partners to let me be the follower sometimes.
When I go out to dance, im usually either dancing alone ☝️ or ill have to ask someone and agree to lead and sometimes teach 😪🤷‍♂️. I dont mind sometimes but,
Its kinda sad. I feel like there's a big shortage of men my age in ballroom dance who aren't hard-core competition pros 😭 I don't want to take away advanced partners from girls who really need one to compete and practice full time with. Its hard to find a decently skilled yet reliable social partner. No one ever asks me to dance 🙃🙃

I recently attended and did a local competition at a little swing club in NYC (go to Swing 46 if youre ever here 🙂☝️) and the solo category was the biggest because there was a HUGE shortage of unmarried men who weren't just gonna dance with their wives all night.
