Miss 90s football. Everything’s become so corporate now. Too many young players more obsessed with social media and their appearance than their performances on a pitch. Wish Pogba would grow up and mature into a leader. Miss the treble winning team; Keane, Scholes and Stam wouldn’t stand for the nonsense that goes on in today’s game. Far too corporate and money motivated. And FAR too much foreign influence, from players, to managers, to owners. Remember the days when you used to get two or three foreign players in a starting XI. Personally, been watching more and more of the Championship- it’s a throwback (in my opinion anyway) to football of the 90s. Big teams who have played in the top tier before (Villa, Forest, Leeds, both Sheffield Clubs etc), more emphasis on fans than the greed of the PL, and a much larger proportion of homegrown players.
I still remember as a kid watching Andy Cole score a bicycle kick for ManU in the dying minute in the Champions League but can’t remember the year. One of my all time favourites at United.
Although the pass had a slow pace to it, it got to Keane okay, he should have controlled it better. Wouldn't blame Blomqvist. Super performance from Keane though.

I think I remember Roy recently saying he quite liked Jesper Blomqvist - as a person and player - hope he doesn't still hide under the bed. To be fair Keane completely miscontrolled that pass, that's why he ended up fouling.
This was the career defining game of Utds best CM ever. And people Scholes was the magic man, he wasn’t anywhere near Keane’s level of all round influence and ability to win things! Always find these Scholes’ revisionists disrespectful of Keane!!
