Can you imagine this guy as a father? Honestly, I doubt you could get away with anything. He’s so matter of fact. I saw him once give a lecture to some teenage boys. He took their earrings. I’m not allowed to get my ears pierced so I thought it was funny. I’m an Orthodox Jew, originally from Russia and I really like Rabbi Mizrahi but I’m a bit ornery (my parents call me impish) and I would not step one foot out of line with him. I will say though, I’m a fan of his teachings and how he teaches. Nothing is sugar coated. Nothing is PC. Nothing is designed to tell us just what we want us to hear. We might not like it but we learn.
I love this Rabbi. I learn so much.

Rabbi Mizrachi is one of the most patient man I have ever seen, These people are atheists and as Rabbi Mizrachi says none of these theories are proven and accurate a 100%. Thank you Rabbi for being so patient.

The lecture became his platform to flex what he knows and defeating the rabbi on the argument would further inflate his ego thus in his mind bringing him more honor.
I was already becoming irrate hearing him.

I tried listening to this last night and only made it up to 1:35:08. I'll finish now. Even if the other guy has a different opinion he's very rude for continuously interrupting the speaker. Sure, it is wise to question the lecturer but this guy was simply all over the place. Prop points to Yosef for posting something like this.

Sounds like this guy liked the sound of his own voice. Hos arguments were all circular and and did not address the rabbis basic questions.

If a speaker is wrong, depending on the IMPACT of what the speaker is saying: Bite your tongue, Wait until the lecture is over and present your proof.
The person that kept interrupting Rav Mizrachi obviously did not want to try to, "hear" and truly comprehend the key points that the brilliant Rav is giving.
BH for Rav Mizrachi and his patients with that person.

@46:45 To this argument about the ice rings and 5784 years of Jewish calendar - is human history beginning with Adam, not total age of the Earth or the universe, isn't that correct, Rabbi? Also, about the last question about the souls and bodies, I think the real question should be: is there a set number of souls and they keep reincarnating into different bodies, or are the souls constantly being created new for new bodies?

I think the arguer wanted to be more knowledgeable than the rabbi. I think rabbi, the answer to prove that God was at the beginning is nothing can be created from nothing. Simple. The problem in our world nowadays is that many people want to be smarter than they are without knowledge.

To the question about the 70 vs. 75 people who went with Jacob to Egypt, Acts 7:14 is part of a speech which Luke records. The speech is given by Stephen, a Greek Jew who no doubt would have read the Septuagint. The Septuagint (along with the Dead Sea Scrolls) varies from the Masoretic Text in both Genesis 46:27 and Exodus 1:5 and reads instead "75 people." It's likely Stephen was quoting this tradition.

2:20 - Rabbi discusses the tears that are transferred to the forehead to erase sin and also where Rabbis have the ability to read Hebrew on the Forehead. Baruch HASHEM! Does anyone have any idea where this is cited? I would love to read about this.

I would like to answer the Atheist in the room! Prophesy, which is born out in history, and archeology, and peoples faith; reflects not only that there is a Creator, who said it, but who brought it to pass. It takes Judaism to explain Hashem, for without it you would always miss the mark, or wind up confused or compromised as this poor soul! Facts on the ground as Rabbi Mizrachi tells you.

I would like to answer the man who thinks religion and science should work together. The reason the two cannot, is because science works off the works of proven theory. Religion in an infinite being, cannot be proven or disproven by science. You have a lot of people that dabble in science, and say they believe this and that; but not one of them will credit any fact to the Creator! You get that jibber, Rabbi, oy ve!
