I remember watching this video when I first started bjj. Leandro Lo’s guard passing was so incredible and relentless. I even had a venom gi. Miyao bros and Lo were the face of cicero costha and inspired me to keep training. RIP

I came back to this video today on the day of Leandro lo's passing away. He inspired me as a young athlete and he will be greatly missed. RIP to an absolute legend

Assisti diversas vezes a esse vídeo antes de ir ao treino. Que época Foda! Hoje temos diversas algumas figuras, e acredito até que os atletas recebam mais, porém a vibe que essa época transmitiu e esses vídeos transmitiam não tem igual. Great vid. And MAD PROPS to that purple belt in the video, putting up a great fight against Lo. He was keeping his guard composed and recovering before getting scored on better than many of the black belts Lo goes against. Impressive.
Wellington Luis, he is a brown belt now, kid is a monster and just won Abu Dhabi Pro trials last weekend in Sao Paulo. Many say he's got the most potential of everyone on the team. Keep an eye out for him

What amazes me the most about Lo is that he's not physically gifted like many of the other world champions, he's got a lanky frame, barely any lean muscle mass, but he's got one of the best minds in the game. His timing, technique, and relentless, yet methodical, pace that few can match. Always love watching him compete.

i think you missed the point. I don't think Lo is athletic like Santos/Jacare/Rudolfo but his determination and technique makes him a physical force to deal with.
How hugs Bro it takes serious athleticism to pass the way Lo passes against other high level guards.
@@leondelafonte i did not say he was not athletic........ i just said i think it's his technique and determination that gets him over the top of others.. I've trained with some of the guys from the Cicero Costho camp, and just like the vid shows, their determination and drive is what seperates them from others, NOT their athleticism.
