As a new player, the bags are a good deal at 250. Im 2 short of cap, but the 2 i have are 60s so I'm not gonna get them. It takes 250 keys to open an entire set, so i dont know how youve got 50 spare etc, considering the last mod (and this bag) was much less than 250 days ago. I think there's been 4 bags over the time ive played and thats WAY less than 250. You must be buying keys if that's what you have spare (4x bags over last 6 months = 1000 keys). Clearly you cant earn even enough to open ONE full set with just VIP in that time. Im new and thus cant wait 6 months or year to claim or open a box, as i need stuff now. So I'd suggest any new players (like me) to open boxes and prizes now. I do DR (Dead Ring) area quests regularly for keys and occationally quest objectives. I dont run PF over and over, just once (since last x2). New players like me, need these crafting pieces today, not when the event is scheduled. I have got to a point where I've saved up for this event (this time round), but i 100% get why people farm DR/PF for one in three chance to recieve a pink upgrade stones (when its not scheduled). Those pink ones are expensive, so getting one in 3 completes, is good to someone like me (so i disagree with you on farming DR also, sorry). You're tips and POV are great and I've learned loads from your channel, so I'm sorry when i disagree on why new people (like me) opening up stuff and/or farm these things regularly. A Mote or Refine Stone is nothing to you, but they're massive and can make actual difference for newbies (like me).
I do not buy keys, ever! I do not open all the lockboxes, i skip like 2 and then open either 75 or 150 of that lockbox for the trade bars, that's it. the others i just open 5 also for the trade bars

I wrote a lengthy retort mainly to highlight your (recent) view is great for established players, but for newbies like me, not so much, as were still upgrading basic stuff. We need kit, motes ingredients and refining stones (etc) today as they'll all make an instant difference (they do to me and I'm a 6 month timmie who's just over 70k). The key thing I didn't understand 😉
Maybe it's just me, but on Xbox; when I do the Dread ring runs, and use keys to enter... the reward chest at the end only opens once... so it's useless to waste keys repeating the run as there's no reward for running it multiple times for me...

Dragon hunt gear and mythlar set, rings from mtos then mdwp. Weapons mirage or mw, mw prob better since mirage is broken and may get nerfed until you get stormforged or perfect weps. Pretty sure he also has a video on progession after lv 20.

If you pick up hellpit on the wrong character you can fail it and pick it up on your main or whatever.
If you pick up Hell Pit on the wrong character, you can just go into it and then leave which will reset it.

You might have to wait a minute before re-entering. It can bug, and the lair does not reset

This game is the literal definition of a slog. Everything takes forever and the turn over is so small it's not even worth it.
