- Maggie Peyton wants to become a NASCAR driver, but her overprotective father, Ray Peyton, doesn't want to. Ray, who was a pilot, wants Maggie to get a job as a TV sports announcer because it's more lucrative and leaves the track to her brother. When Ray takes Maggie to a junkyard to pick out a car, she has no idea that the little Volkswagen called Herbie she takes home will change her life.

I love all the Herbie movies and just had to watch this video. I would also like to point out that you did make a mistake as Maggie did not get hurt on the track but she was hurt while street racing. Also Herbie is definitely not a girl. There are also so many more mistakes in this video and I could spend all day going over them

I can't tell how many love bug movies have been made, but this is my favorite of all.
Not only me but also every single who watched this loves Herbie a lot. and wishes that Herbie could have been there car too.
I still do wish Herbie was my car and or that I could at least have a vw beetle in general. But with the collectors market these days and all I can't get one unfortunately.
I think that Herbie is the BEST EVER, Hope that there WILL be more Movies of Herbie soon.

I think I've understand why Maggie's Dad doesn't want his daughter to race. He's pretty much the overprotective dad over one accident Maggie had been into. Other than that. I really enjoyed Herbie Fully Loaded since April 2016, after I toke a school test.

The thing about Herbie that's shown in the remake of the film that's strikingly unrealistic is how the car faces loads of nascars and is also seen beating an AC Cobra which this highly unlikely considering the Volkswagen 1200 'Beetle' has a top speed of only up to 60 - 62 mph (1960s models).

I think it would be great if a (HERBBIE) live-action show series could get made.
I can imagine a scenario; In which the storyline about Herbie picks up years later, after the events that had happened in the year2005 (HERBIE: FULLY LOADED) movie, and I imagine that the grandson of (Maggie Peyton) he is of need of Herbie’s help.
To add I imagine that Maggie’s grandson is 16years old, I imagine that his grandfather is Kevin, and I imagine after MAGGIE had graduated from college she decided she wants to marry Kevin.
And much later MAGGIE did marry KEVIN after he finally worked up the courage to propose to her.
There was one. It just didn't air for long.

@@Kgosiscringe I think the only Herbie’s girlfriend to have his kids, is if that event happens somewhere, that has a secret amount of magical energy, and the wish of Herbie to be a father comes true at that particular place.

I don’t know how that would work because the older generation has the engine in the rear, while the newer one has the engine in the front, going against the grain of Ferdinand Porsche’s original design. Probably because Germany wanted to move away from the Reichwagen while Volkswagen wanted to retain some tradition. In doing so, they turned their best selling car of all time into nothing more than an over glorified Golf masquerading as a classic.
