Operating Instructions for EJOY Smart Dimmer
Dimmer preparing, system timing set:
1) If the system time is inconsistent with the current time, turn the "shift switch" to the timing position to adjust.
2) After entering the timing interface, rotate the "Total Brightness" knob to select the "Year, Month, Day, Hour, Minute, Second" information that needs to be modified.
3) Select by pressing the "Total Brightness" knob to turn the number red, then you can adjust the "Date" and "Time" content by rotating the "Total Brightness" knob. Press the "Total Brightness" knob again to complete the setting, the text will turn yellow, and you can rotate the "Total Brightness" knob to select other information and adjust as well.
4) For example, set the timing to: June 26, 2023 18:38:00.
Dimmer setting. This dimmer has four working modes: manual, setup, external control, and emergency mode.
1、 Manual mode
1) Turn the 'shift switch' to 'manual' position.
2) Rotate the "Total Brightness" knob to manually adjust the brightness of the light, with an adjustable range of 0% -100%.
Rotate clockwise to increase brightness, and counterclockwise to decrease brightness.
2、 Set up mode
1) Turn the "shift switch" to the “set up“ position. The set-up mode includes setting the light on/off period and brightness.
2) Set the "gradient time". The "gradient time" refers to the speed at which the light changes. The larger the number, the longer the brightness gradient time, with a maximum setting of 999 seconds.
For example, "60" means that it takes 60 seconds for the light to change from 0% brightness value to 100% brightness value.
3) Set the time period for turning on and off the lights, which can be set up to 5 time periods within a day. Press the "Total Brightness" knob to enter the setting of the light on/off period. Adjust the value by rotating the "Total Brightness knob", and then press the "Total Brightness" knob again to complete the setting.
4) After setting, turn the "shift switch" to "manual" position, the buzzer will sound twice continuously, indicating that the current setting is saved.
3、 External control mode
Turn the "shift switch" to "external control", the system will automatically detect the signal voltage input by the external environmental controller, the light brightness will be controlled by the environmental controller.
4、 Emergency mode
1) Open the cabinet door, and the "emergency button" is located below the back of the cabinet door.
2) If the lighting is not controlled by the "total brightness knob" or the actual lighting does not match the "brightness" value displayed on the screen, press the "emergency control " button to enter emergency mode.
3) At this point, the overall lighting brightness will be adjusted by rotating the small knob above the red "emergency" button.
Rotate clockwise to increase brightness, and counterclockwise to decrease brightness.
