Thank you so much for sharing. I am literally frightened to death that im going to be scarred with pits and white scars on my chin when I start electrolysis next year. 😟 I hope the electrologists will do a perfect job of making sure that it doesn’t happen. 🙏🏻🤞🏻
I have dark facial hair around my neck area I hate it so much I wish I could just cut off the skin its just so embarrassing I feel humiliated by it. Thanks for your videos
hi Melis! Thank you so much for these videos you do, they are so detailed which I really appreciate. I want to get electrolysis done on my chin hair. How do you choose a good clinic? and if you have advice for me, I also wanted to know how painful it is, let’s say compared to threading eyebrows? And little about me I am Asian, 20 years old. I don’t think I have pcos since my periods are extremely regular. I am wondering whether I should ask my gp first to do a blood test for hormone levels before doing electrolysis? Thanks
Some people find it really painful, and others don't. I personally don't think it's that bad but it's best to try a 5 minute session so you know how it feels and how your skin reacts. Excess hair and irregular periods are not the only symptoms so I recommend having a look at a full list of the possible symptoms first and then you can decide if you want to get tested x
@@melisatesbel thank you so much for your advice, I will definitely watch the video about the salon and check symptoms for potential pcos. As soon as things open here I want to get it done, because it really makes me feel bad about myself. I don’t want to shave because I really don’t trust it won’t give beard (even though that’s probably myth ) and razor bumps big no
Hi Melis, may I ask you a question? After watching several of your videos and informing myself in other ways, I had my first electrolysis treatment on my bikini line two days ago. Since then my skin is numb; I can really feel the difference with the left side, as only the right side was treated (I did not use numbing creme). There is currently no swelling or anything, just occasional minor scabs (like really small). I am worried, because when I called the licensend skin therapist who did the treatment, she said she had never experienced a reaction of numbness before. So I am wondering: have you? And do you have any idea how this could have happened?
I am Gloria from South Africa experiencing hirsutism and TMAU, my doctors said i have PCOS had to start applying different med from my doctor nothing worked, i visited a channel Alternative Herbs that actually worked for me getting rid of the hairs, Doctor isibor body cleanser helped me overcome TMAU and pcos with in 21 days...
I have slight pigments on one spot on my uper lip but it is not everywhere it was from the first time I ever got it done and like and idiot scattered the scab off that day at work and the next day I went walking in the sun without spf.
I had every bad experience of doing electrolysis on my cheeks .my skin now still rough in texture .the texture is uneven because she was pulling the hair forcely not doing electrolysis.electrolysis need a pro who can manage everything on your skin not just pulling the hair and stabe the needle on my face .I'm so depressed now bcz I do not know how can I deal with roughness on my cheeks ? and how can deal with hypegmentation too ? .I did only 3 sessions it was about a month ago and I will never ever do this again .I ruined my face by my stupid mind .my cheeks were really smooth and shiny before but now I see uneven skin texture like pitting and discoloration of the skin too .help me guys pls ..any idea ? Any situation like me? Thank you for your help
You don’t need to maintain the results because electrolysis is permanent. If you have a hormone imbalance like me, this causes new hair growth so you need to maintain the results by having touch up sessions
You’re welcome love 🩷, I have a question. (sorry another) I saw online that you have to balance your hormones before, otherwise electrolysis doesn’t work?
Hi! Not always it depends on how much damage there is and how well your skins healing ability is. But there are many beauty treatments and home skincare that can be used to help with scarring 😊
@@NaseemaPerveen For facial hair I wouldn’t recommend laser because there is a risk of the hair getting worse. To avoid scars I recommended doing a shorter electrolysis session and spreading the sessions further apart to give time for your skin to heal. Make sure the aftercare is followed too to promote healing.

Hey,
I wanted to ask does word permanent means for all life or just for few years? thanks :)
Hi, what do u think if unwanted beard hairs can be removed without any visible complications?
I have slight pigments on one spot on my uper lip but it is not everywhere it was from the first time I ever got it done and like and idiot scattered the scab off that day at work and the next day I went walking in the sun without spf.
hey, how long does it take for the beard area of females for one session, and does the session take less time by the day?

Hey why do you need to maintain if electrolysis is permanent? Does hormonal imbalance cause hair to grow even after using electrolysis?

How long does the swelling or slight pimples last?

I have like weird raised bumps that look like swelling. I had to stop for months and it never went away.
How is it now?
