- Of course, it is one of the most beautiful train journeys you can make in Switzerland. The Brienz Rothorn railway is almost on my doorstep. But it's not just that. When I hear the typical sound of the railway for the first time in spring, my heart beats faster.
The Brienz Rothorn Railway takes you up to the Brienzer Rothorn in an hour. From there, you have a breathtaking view of Lake Brienz and the surrounding mountains!

We stayed overnight at the Berghaus on Wednesday and loved it. More cloud than you had though - still some good sunrise photos. Saw black grouse as well as a large group of ibex at the salt lick 😁

How can you keep your camera in the front glass of a train?!

Yeah, I have connections to the Brienz Rothorn Bahn, normally, the person who is controlling the railway is only able to stay in front of the train because of security reasons. 😃
