Turning a Queen

I made the Queens from Cherry and Walnut. Here is a compilation of my work on these woods. I stopped using the pedestal screw chuck because I found for the larger pieces the screw would strip out the wood. I figured I could just use the block of wood if I accounted for the length that would be used by the chuck and then drill the weight slot deeper through that section.
Using the Dremel on the crown adjustments, gave me a pleasant depression for the crown.
I use OB Shine Juice for the finish, which is a mix of 1/3 Boiled Linseed Oil, 1/3 Clear Shellac, and 1/3 Denatured Alcohol. The source for this can be referenced here: • #89 O.B. Shine Juice (#89 O.B. Shine Juice) on RUclips.
