- Dimash Kudaibergen was born in Aktobe, Kazakhstan, on May 24, 1994.
- Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition.

The concert was amazing, it was quite intimate, not sure how many were there but it was in the smaller of the two venues at the O2 in London. It was a night I will never forget. Dimash enrolled in music college when he was 5 yrs old, and has masters degrees in several forms of music.
The man in the audience in the white shirt that stood is Igor Krutoy, a famous russian composer who came out of semiretirement to work with Dimash and they have done several songs together. This is in Russia and it is a cultural thing that they don't stand

Dear Megan, I am very glad that you landed on planet Dimash ; there is sure a lot to explore here! I suggest you listen to this song again (for yourself), the Moscow version, it’s even better!!
Next reactions, I suggest Ogni Pietra, Opera 2, Daybreak Bastau, and Love is like a dream. He is wonderful in all of these and every one in a different way.
The audience was Russian, and they traditionally are more reserved in their reactions. But note the man in the white shirt who stands up at the end; his name is Igor Krutoy, he is a multi billionaire music mogul and composer from Russia, who, after hearing this, came out of retirement to write songs specially for Dimash and his incredible range; so far it has given us Ogni Pietra/Olympico, Passione and Your love, all masterpieces. Last year, Igor celebrated his 65th birthday by doing a worldwide tour featuring many of the singers who worked with him. This tour brought him to NY city with Dimash featured as the last (and most anticipated) singer. You can find those songs on RUclips. Then a few weeks later, Dimash gave his own concert, Arnau, in a sold out Barclay center in NY, 18,000 people came from 64 different countries to hear him, isn’t it amazing!

Every performance shows a different side to Dimash that you haven’t seen from him before! Even if you’ve seen him perform a song at one venue, it will be different on another performance, so you never know what to expect!
I think a great next reaction would probably be Adagio from The Singer competition (2017), ruclips.net/video/eaq24OhkBRE/видео.html that shows off Dimash’s epic performance skills. It’s in English too, although at that time his English wasn’t brilliant (he had to learn the song phonetically in a week!) but his performance skills are so incredible in this specific performance, it really doesn’t matter that much, it will still be the best performance you have ever seen prior to life before Dimash!
Looking forward to you doing more reactions from Dimash, I’ve loved your reactions to him to date! His more recent songs are also epic! Hi, Megan! Love watching you discover Dimash. Dude's a beast. And, as crazy as it sounds, every performance of his you watch will surprise you in some way and show you some other part of his range, style, musicality, etc. He truly is a phenomenon. I know you'll be getting tons of requests from all the Dears for reactions to all their favorite Dimash songs but I'd like to go ahead and throw mine on the pile:
- Adagio (Singer 2017 version is best, avoid the others) features Dimash going ALL IN with the emotion. Truly the definition of "leaving it all on the stage."
- Ogni Pietra (Olimpico) shows off a different version of his lower range than you saw here, some incredible high notes, and his more operatic side (with a contemporary feel). Best version is on the composer (Igor Krutoy)'s channel: ruclips.net/video/dkPS6t84qg4/видео.html
- Your Love is another one he does with Igor Krutoy (who, btw, is the bald gentleman giving Dimash the standing O at the end of Sinful Passion. Krutoy's a famous Russian composer who basically came out of retirement specifically to write for Dimash's voice after seeing him perform).
- Diva Dance is the song the blue alien sings in the movie, The Fifth Element. It was written to be unsingable by a human voice (and had to be synthesized for the movie) but Dimash performs it live. There are a few versions but the best performance of the Diva Dance section is from the Bastau concert. He really perfected it there.
- Hello is a cover of the Lionel Ritchie song from the 80s. Dimash starts out with a fairly straight (if more intimate) rendition before REALLY making it his own. This one is really mind-blowing.
- Your Love Is Like A Dream is a slow burn (also with Igor Krutoy on piano) where, at one point, you'll feel like you've heard an angel sing. No exaggeration.
- Opera 2 is a cover of the Vitas song and is fun.
- Across Endless Dimensions is a song/music video he did for an Italian sci-fi movie. I guarantee your soul will leave your body during this song.
Really, though, it's hard to go wrong with Dimash. In general, avoid the performances from World's Best (they edited his performances and treated him poorly) and fancams (the audio is terrible). Looking forward to following your journey down the Dimash rabbit hole! Subscribed!
oh two more things: He's singing in Russian, in which he's fluent as most Kazakhs also speak Russian in addition to Kazakh. And: watch this to the very end to hear him speak in his mellifluous gorgeous voice.

Excellent reaction! I believe you're now Dimashified! Americans, myself included, rarely get the opportunity to see and hear artists like Dimash because the record and music broadcasting industry is centered on what they believe sells in the US. RUclips is changing those perceptions, thank goodness! I stumbled across Dimash about 6 months ago and now can't go a day without experiencing his magic.
By the way, the guy in the white shirt standing in the audience applauding is multi-billionaire Igor Krutoy, a major mover and shaker in the Russian music industry. Following this performance, he came out of retirement to compose songs and play the piano for Dimash. They have a very nice father-son relationship. He is also linked to Diana Ankudinova, a 17 year old Russian girl with a very unique voice. You may want to react to her as well...start with Rechenka, performed when she was 14 years old, and Wicked Game when she was 15. Enjoy your journeys!!
Dimash and Diana are my two favorite singer-performers...I've never heard anything like them, and I'm 69 years old!

That was a 24 second belt on one breath at the end. He is 6’3 of heart and Lungs and sooo handsome, kind, hardworking, respectful, plays seven instruments, dances, models, directs, sings Every genre from pop to opera. I Have to watch him every day. Beautiful person inside and out.
It is so much fun to welcome new Dears....This performance was in Russia, it is a cultural custom that they do not stand after a performance....but they truly love him there...The gentleman in the white shirt who is standing...is Igor Krutoy, a famous composer and you will get to know him well...after hearing Dimash sing, he came out of retirement to compose music for Dimash..one of the songs he composed especially for Dimash is "Olympico" to be sung at the opening ceremony of the European Games last year...It also won Dimash the "Best Classical Singer of the Year Award in Russia ...so you have a lot to look forward to.....now I will suggest 2 videos not for reaction on your channel, but for just you....RUclips...Anna D. It's not a cultural custom in Russia to not stand after a performance. I mean I guess we don't do it as often as in the west. And the performance should *really* be exceptional. But we do give standing ovations. And literally everyone was standing. Except for Igor's wife and sister (and some lazy people from the second raw). I don't know what's wrong with them.
I have just watched BORN TO SING. Than you., it was wonderful. Really brilliant people are so special on this earth, and so rare. We are blessed to be able to witness his gift.

Wonderful Reaction! Standing Ovations are to my knowledge not so common in Russia, they show their appreciation through donations of Flowers instead.
When you for example see the many Performances Dimash did in the Kreml, you will hardly see any Standing Ovations, doesn't mean they are not thrilled.

Hello, I’m from Brazil! The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique. The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio (Russian-based Kazakhstani pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", city of Almaty). The dead singer left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The man standing and applauding in white shirt on front row is the legendary Russian composer/producer, Igor Krutoy. Soon after this performance he became Dimash's Musical Director & main composer. He has written many songs just for Dimash such as "Love is Like a Dream" & "Love of Tired Swans" & "Know" & "Ogni Prieta"

Great reaction to our king Dimash! The first gentleman standing at the end of the song, is Igor Krutoy, giving Dimash the standing ovation!! Imagine the pressure Dimash had of having Mr. Krutoy in the audience. That's the first time most of us, < Dear>, got to see Igor. Soon after, He and Dimash gave us " The Love Of Tired Swans " ,"Mademoiselle Hyde", " Love is like a dream ", "Passione", "Know" and my favorite "Ogni Pietra" and the new masterpiece "Your Love"
two of my favorites by Dimash are "Know" (VTB Arena) and "Vocalise"(Kiev) - which is the same tune as Know but with vocalizations only, and with so much wonderful improv.
It took a couple hours before you tube came back up, but I finally saw your reaction. A very good reaction at that. Like you I was under a rock also and only discovered Dimash about 6 months ago. But I have since then, watched possibly thousands of reactions to his many songs. Two songs I will suggest reacting to are "Love is Like a Dream" and the I am a singer version of "Adagio", which he actually sings in English. A third song you may consider if you want to see a more Operatic side of his is "Ti Amo Cosi" in which he sings with two other very talented women.
I am an Indian and am very big fan of Dimash. Everytime I listen to his songs, I just become speechless. I wonder no other singer could be comparable to him near or in the future.

I cannot say that there is a certain Dimash song that is better than the rest. Dimash does not show all his capabilities in any of his songs. In each new song he surprises us with new facets of his talent. He always has a trump card up his sleeve;) Almost all of Dimash's songs, released by him over the past 3 years, are on my playlist. He never disappoints, always surprises and delights.
