I think you're right about the game not being able to update again. At least in the Apple store or wherever this app is downloaded. I could definitely be wrong about this though, but I do think there are solutions for them to keep going and just do a workaround. I don't know if this is possible on iphones but I know on Android you can install apk files that aren't even in the google play store. They could do something like that. They also still have android as well as their pc client. Other than that in Europe, the European Union charged Apple with breaching the bloc’s tech rules. Apparently there's also a court case in the US going on about this and some judge/lawyer said that what Apple's doing is wrong. I don't exactly remember everything from that article. I guess we will have to see what comes out of this but I also want to be positive and think they will find a solution for this cause if Watcher of Realms shuts down, then also all their other apps with in app purchases will shut down and I doubt that's something that will happen. When it comes to content creators they are also just trying to be positive and assuming Bytedance will find a solution. Some of them DID also make a video about the current situation with the updates, so if people have been following them OR the news they already know.

I find it a bit distasteful for CCs to push out all the fin updates they have on the Forerunner Server when it doesn't appear anyone is getting these updates anytime soon. Once a clear timeline is established to get this update issue corrected then I think any content is fair game.
What do you expect people to do though ? Start a riot over a game ? It’s been all said many times now. It’s not like they can change this from one day to another. It’s an apple issue, it can take a while, it’s shit, the risk is there that the game won‘t update for a long time, the risk is there that the game may shut down, we all know these things and the CC‘s all have been sound about spending cautiously cuz it may go down the drain incase the game shuts down. So what exactly is the point of steering up the pot again ? You can either stay positive and hope for the best, or you can fan the flames and make it even worse than it is. Nobody forces anyone to spend or to play after all. I highly suggest everyone too afraid the game might shut down, to not spend at least or maybe even stop playing, if the alternative is to spread negativity. We all have the choice to be free to play and dont give them money. Finally im pretty sure that none of the CC‘s pretend that forerunner and testserver stuff is actual updates. Its big on the screen and it’s new content to cover. Lets stay positive and keep the community happy instead of starting riots that won’t help anyway.
I'm not sure I ever wanted anyone to be "unhappy" or start a "riot". I am still playing the game and still enjoy it. I even stated that for most players it doesn't matter that they can no longer update the game because there is still TONS of content that still needs to be completed. My criticism was aimed at content creators that are pushing out videos about all the new "updates". There are no updates! Would you feel the same way of the CCs are doing these videos in 6 months without an update?

The other games moonton has got taken down as well That said I'll not spend and will just play till it ends and if it does I'll ask to refund do to there neglecting to resolve there issues
