I was on the carnival spirit a few weeks ago and I would honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life. It was my first ever cruise and it was seriously so amazing I enjoyed it thoroughly and will definitely be back again! Also Erin the cruise director was so awesome I love her energy!
Finally a cruise vlog we can relate to! You guys just popped up in our recommendations to watch - we’re big fans of La Loca, Don and Emma. We’re going to be on the Spirit in August from Seattle to Alaska by way of Tampa. We appreciate the thoughts, opinions and what to watch and look out for in your posts. We did subscribe. We really enjoyed the Spirit when we sailed on her on the first cruise to restart cruising out of Jacksonville, which was also the Carnival 50th Anniversary Sailabration cruise..Wonderful ship and it has a LOT of quirks! Certainly a lot of 'nekkidness' around with the Roman/Greek decor! The one quirky thing that I loved was The Jungle, an awesome hallway going all around the front of deck 2, would be the perfect area to 'get away' and have quietness to read or just watch the world go by! Thanks for posting!

Cruised on her sister ship Pride last December and loved it. Love the layout and size. Spirit is coming to Mobile in Fall '23 with 6 and 8 day cruises and we hope to do 2 cruises before it leaves Spring '24. Thanks for posting!

Sailing her out of Miami in November. Can't wait for her to come to Mobile. Live very near!!! Glad it will be longer cruises. I love Alaska. Did two cruises and a big land trip. One of my favorite places. I found a super expensive land tour. Thousands of dollars. I followed it making my own transpotation and hotel b&b park reservations. There are small vans that travel between parks and of course the gorgeous trains. It took some time but built us a fabulous trip. A fraction of the cost. Stayed in b&bs with great hosts, pretty cabins and park accomodations. Booked deep sea fishing and great park excursions. The most fun was white water rafting. I had a photo they took of us on my refrigerator for years. I was smiling from ear to ear. Well I went off on a tangent but Alaska is amazing.
That's why we love the Spirit class... they are just so unique and have their own characteristics compared to the new ships. ❤️🛳

We sailed on one of the few cruises the Spirit made out of Jacksonville. It truely was a beautiful ship. While the steakhouse was under the whale tail, I wasn't big on the constant pink color inside with the coloring of the glass above. I guess it wouldn't be too big of an issue after dark. Thanks for sharing!!!
Going on my 3rd Alaskan cruise, 2nd with carnival and 1st time on the spirit in August! Can't wait!!!!

We just came back with the Spirit, from an 8 days Eastern Caribbean adventure! Amazing trip, and so much to see on this great ship! So many details, a 1920's vibe... loved the artworks! And I was all amazed by the steakhouse and having dinner under the whale-tale.
Greek and Roman aesthetic? I just booked a cruise on this ship and am really looking forward to checking it all out for myself! Thank you for the tip about Soul Play, it sounds like the wait in line would be worth it.

Awesome! Been waiting for a Spirit video of Alaska. We're going in August on the Spirit. We were very excited about the Spirit because it is very similar to the Miracle. Both very whimsical and fun in their decor and extremely easy to navigate, unlike the Radiance. Anyway, looking forward to the rest of this series. Thanks

Have a great time! The cruise director Erin is fantastic and a super awesome person! If your cruise is going to the Tracy arm fjord it is beautiful and probably the best part of the cruise! Also always keep your eyes on the ocean because there is lots of whales to see!

The Spirit looks very unique and lovely. How is the food? I would love that Soul Play class! Maybe not so much neckedness for me either! How was the entertainment and onship activities?

The food was good not fantastic. They still only had bacon about 50% of the time. Lol. The vibe of the ship was a chill environment. The painting class looked amazing. I signed up but it ended up being on a time when we were going through Tracy Arm Fjord so I did not do it. Lots of Alaska themed trivia. The evening shows were good. They had a show where you could wear 3D glasses in parts of it. It wasn't great animation though.

Busy day, so when I finally got around to watching this video, my husband was asleep. When you two started talking about all the “neked “ art work, I laughed out loud and woke him up. It looks like a pretty ship, but we would not appreciate all that art. It would be especially difficult if we were traveling with grandkids.

There's nothing shameful about the human body and I see some people on the ship bathing suits not fitting properly. Children see a lot more at home, lol!
