It was legendary Eliwood. And this remix further cements him in that role for me. Legendary Lucina is also a really fun support unit, being able to give auto followups to anyone.
Was Sothis really free? The only one I have is a -spd I got from her first banner. I don't recall anyone getting "free" Sothis unless they got compensated on that glitched Hero Fest.
Yune's refine is obviously the clear winner, and that dmg reduction is gonna make her annoying in AR. Although, this does make me feel bad for Sothis. Both are early dark type mythics who struggled with competition. While Yune's refine/remix allows her to rise up the ranks, Sothis pretty much got screwed over with her's.
I love that most of Eliwood's remix basically boils down to letting him benefit from all his support abilities. That was a really interesting way of going about it. And I really like it
It's pretty awesome that Halloween Hector gets damage reduction even if the foe can't double him, which is very flexible in that regard, but I wish his perf's effect wasn't still tied down to odd turns or the foe not being at full health.
along with being tied down to how much you whale for him just for an additional 1-2 debuffs (when we have units that easily get -6 to -9 debuffs on foe in battle)
I was excited for his refine, but i think even with it, he doesnt change a whole lot in my tier list because of those restrictions. If he didnt have them at all, he would be amazing. Still one of the worst duos even with the refine imo, and i have all of them
Ok so how we went from sothis, one of the worst refines in recent times and the worst mythic refine ever, to yune who went from bottom to top tier. Sothis is truly the phy raditz of fire emblem heroes.
Yune getting +6 Atk but only +5 Res from the first effect of her refine bugs me to no end when most other refines would make it a straight +6 Atk/Res lol.
I think Bridal Fjorm's refine is going to come in real clutch during Light Season now since it more effectively shuts down Yune's DR and true damage than anything else.
The best part of Yune's refine is when she enters a combat and says her crit quote "It's Yunin Time" and then starts Yunin all over the enemies. Truly one of the refines ever made.
I think Yune’s Remix will make Chill soaking more important than ever in Light Season. Being able to minimise the risk of Yune Debuffing an important unit by ensuring that only one or two units are targeted by Chaos Named+ will be a huge asset in dealing with her.
All I'm hearing is that the easiest to kill off Mythic now hits you with the Uno Reverse if she gets her Debuffs off on you... Which WILL happen, regardless if you want it to or not lmao
Holy crap. Yune's refine had me laughing hard. Fitting for a chaos goddess, but damn. Seeing her take zero damage from a red bow and Fedelgard is too funny.
A true zero to hero moment for Yune! Potentially having 100% DR with a total of 50 debuffs on the foe (including panicked buffs) is something else, and she can even do enormous true damage to foes who neutralize penalties. And Sothis is sulking even harder than before now. L!Eliwood's refine may not be supportive at all, but his remixed C skill was already everything he could have asked for, so it's fine.
I really love this batch of refines, and I’m so glad they did justice to Eliwood, Yune definitely won for sure though, and I’m glad she’s such a powerful unit now since she is one of the strongest characters in the series (outside of Ashunera of course she might be in her own league). Also, this just make me sort of sad that Sothis got done so dirty
Honestly, I think player-phase Hector could be pretty good with his prf weapon! Give him Assault Troop (or budget Armor March), and Bold Fighter, and go to town! His biggest weaknesses would be lack of Guard and Canto, but worth proper support I think it could be pretty fun!

This has been a pretty good Legendary/Mythic remix! Both L!Eliwood and Yune got some great upgrades, especially with the no cap DR and Null Panic/Canto 1 support. I'll try both of them out for sure in Arena and AR respectively. I hope they can continue this trend of solid remixes and we don't end up with other Sothis-like remixes ;-;. And thank you for another wonderful video and helpful breakdowns! I had such a hard time reading through all of the text this time around, so it is incredibly helpful.
I thought they’d give Yune a debuff doubler effect and true damage and call it a day. She’d still be good with that, Chaos named+ it a good skill. But Funny damage reduction is amazing. And her effect seeming made to kill save units, I like.
At one point Yune was one of my most merged 5star exclusive units, and still is my highest merged mythic. I am so happy to see her refine, and I cannot wait to utilize her again!

Been rocking Flow Guard on L!Eliwood when AHR banner was around and it has been amazing. Definitely worth it to have Eliwood be combat ready, though Flow Refresh is not a bad alternative. Hope I can get some Spurge Sparrow fodder so he can be healthy doing non-galeforce builds :)
I've never been much of a SD player but I feel like the usefulness of Lull skills has just increased by a lot since L!Eliwood will become an even more common threat now. Tho I'm kinda tempted on trying my L!Julia with L!Eliwood's support since she has an even better Lull, has damage reduction and can be a surprisingly strong threat with Close Foil and NFU seal. Should be fun.
BChrom is an amazing unit to use with LEliwood as he can get Bonus Doubler, Null Panic, and Canto for +6 extra stats from his weapon, and then +6 to everything from Bonus Doubler, really good option for a team combo if it works for the team
As a big fan of yune, seeing my chaos goddess get her absolutely INSANE buffs made me so happy! When I heard she can take 0 damage under the right conditions is hilarious especially AGAINST Vday Chrom!! She's definitely super duper strong and I'm all here for it ^-^
I can see players doing the triple Bonus Doubler meme again with Eliwood with a visible buffed Kaden nearby. Hoping to get at least 1 copy of him since I think he can support my Lysithea real good. I was so happy with Yune's remix and refine... now who to team her up with.... that Bride Catria advice is really enticing. I'm thinking of Naesala, Vika, Young Minerva, Ashnard, Setheth and Bride Fjorm for the other 2 slots
People sure don't like Duo Hector's refine for some reason, meanwhile I made him my go to Red Save unit and he works surprisingly well. Can confirm speed Duo Hector is actually the way to go here. However I would recommend using an other B Skill that helps rewarding his speed. Something like Hardy Fighter 3 or Savvy Fighter 3 instead that he can make use of even more Damage Reduction and the NFU part of both skills, otherwise he needs setup his Defensive Skill for the 2nd hit or get help from someone like L!Byleth.

Since his weapon has a visible Atk condition (the further Atk/Def debuff based on visible Atk) and if you intend to use him for Near Saving, I think Solid Ground 4 is a decent option on Halloween Hector, to further debuff the foe's Atk and Def. In a way, it does make up a bit for his base weapon being slightly inconsistent.
Yune's weapon refine was way better than what I was expecting! It is kinda funny though that we also got a dual phase inheritable Bow in the ninja banner which can deal damage to Yune even after she gets full Damage Reduction on the first hit.
Just wanted to come in and say, with Chaos season being a thing, Yune is absolutely one of the best debuffers in the game. Gunthras and Hrids chilling seals were already really damn good but Yunes Chaos named 2 is even better. It’s insane. But the reason I’m bringing this up, I actually managed to get the 100% DR in an actual AR offense match. My unmerged Yune attack a B!Marth who was debuffed and panicked in all Stats. Forecast said he did 89x2 with Fire emblem up and ready. It was so fucking wild seeing Yune take 0 damage and even kill him lmaooo that DR is really not too crazy to set up. Definitely an instance glow up for her
This is a suboptimal counter due to mismatched seasonal blessings, but in true thematic fashion Mythic Altina is a possible counter to Yune if Altina is able to trigger her Twin Blades when (vantage) tanking Yune. Placing Hardy Bearing seal on Yune might be necessary to counter such vantage strats in AR Defence.
managed to pull duo!ike for distant dart and i have spd smoke 4 fodder, so im thinking it might be fun to put those on +10 l!dimitri and put him on a team with l!eliwood, medeus and elimine and see how many abyssal maps he can tank lmao. so glad that eliwood's refine is solid!
I really hope they don't screw around with the next few Duo unit refines by being too tame. Originally I was saving orbs for H.Hector merges -then saw the refine- and now I'm just going to use them to get Askr merges cuz I own much better invested Close-Save Armors. I still do standby my previous Refine Theorycraft for him (though at this point I'm updating it to make it closer to this refine, but better): Effective Against Armored Foes: Grants ATK/RES +3 (Res not that important but I'm incorporating Lilina). If its an odd-numbered turn or foes HP 25%, grants +4 to all stats and unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack, and unit deals +5 damage per unit's attack and heals +5 HP per unit's attack. After combat, inflicts 7 damage to the nearest foes within 2 spaces of unit.
Pulled Yune a long time ago. Couple of times thought about foddering her for bond 3 to give unity + something else for someone else. Glad I didn't, slapping her in my dark season defense for sure!
I’ve had Yune in the barracks for so long. I don’t even remember if I actually have her. But if I do I’m so slapping her onto my dark team and replacing Hel. (We’ll see what she gets when eventually remixed.)
I'm scared of the little bird now. And I kinda disappointed that Eliwood doesn't double down on the support role with his weapon refine but I guess it's still a good refine
I personnality think Yune refine won't be a fun experience for AR until we get more counter. D: Happy for the ARD people who got strong tool but as an ARO player focused, I don't really appreciate it. D: This make me hope false start will happen in light too (and false start is completly unhealthy as well). xD
Really nice guide as per usual! One thing that could be good is throw harsh command+ on her since you may play against a bunch of other yunes now. Best support unit!
Hey PM1! I'm stuck at the spark, can't decide between Eliwood, Yune, and LAzura. I have quite a few dancers (the fairies + L!Ninian), so I might not need her? I'm hoping to support N!Laegjarn as a raidboss in SD, and it seems like Eliwood might be the best choice. Thoughts?

Thanks for the analysis. Yune was my first mythic and I love her refine. Definitely will test her in AR. PM1 got any suggestion to counter her? I was disappointed with H.Hector though. He was the first unit that I decided to take out my credit card and pay to get him. I have Hector at +5 and have been waiting for his refine. Now I might as well give him arcane éljúðnir or just use summer edelgard.... which is sad. I guess +7 debuff, healing, and 30% DR isn't bad.
I saw a Yune negate 100% of my attack, even though I had no visible debuffs. I refuse to believe it purposely counts debuffs that have been mitigated by buffs as total debuffs on the foe. If a unit has +10 and -5 to a stat and a skill that scaled off total buffs, the skill would grant +5, not +10. Why is this refine different?
I've been running Miracle, Distant Storm, Vantage, At/Def Menace and Heavy Blade 3 for the longest time on Hector. Wondering if Arcane sword would be better. Been thinking about swaping out L!Azure with L!Ninian or Fallen Ninian since I run L!Eliwood, but not having L!Azure and Bonus Double might hurt.

Damage reduction is one thing, but the fact that it can go up to 100% is pretty crazy of itself. Yune clearly is the true winner of this batch.

Small correction with Yune's effects, for DR and true damage, it's the total debuffs of the foe with the highest debuffs in that area, not all foes
Rn the units with reverse penalty and ROBINGOD are the only ones that can directly counter her.

This is a suboptimal counter due to mismatched seasonal blessings, but in true thematic fashion Mythic Altina is a possible counter to Yune if Altina is able to trigger her Twin Blades when (vantage) tanking Yune. Placing Hardy Bearing seal on Yune might be necessary to counter such vantage strats in AR Defence.
managed to pull duo!ike for distant dart and i have spd smoke 4 fodder, so im thinking it might be fun to put those on +10 l!dimitri and put him on a team with l!eliwood, medeus and elimine and see how many abyssal maps he can tank lmao. so glad that eliwood's refine is solid!

I really hope they don't screw around with the next few Duo unit refines by being too tame. Originally I was saving orbs for H.Hector merges -then saw the refine- and now I'm just going to use them to get Askr merges cuz I own much better invested Close-Save Armors.
I still do standby my previous Refine Theorycraft for him (though at this point I'm updating it to make it closer to this refine, but better):
Effective Against Armored Foes: Grants ATK/RES +3 (Res not that important but I'm incorporating Lilina).
If its an odd-numbered turn or foes HP 25%, grants +4 to all stats and unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack, and unit deals +5 damage per unit's attack and heals +5 HP per unit's attack. After combat, inflicts 7 damage to the nearest foes within 2 spaces of unit.
Pulled Yune a long time ago. Couple of times thought about foddering her for bond 3 to give unity + something else for someone else. Glad I didn't, slapping her in my dark season defense for sure!
I don't usually pull on remix banners but I have zero Yune. Just imagining how badly she can hobble my save balls is scary.

I’ve had Yune in the barracks for so long. I don’t even remember if I actually have her. But if I do I’m so slapping her onto my dark team and replacing Hel. (We’ll see what she gets when eventually remixed.)

Yune is amazing now, but this also means that Bridal Fjorm stonks in Light Season too with her amazing Drive Null Penalties! Poor Milla.

Really nice guide as per usual! One thing that could be good is throw harsh command+ on her since you may play against a bunch of other yunes now. Best support unit!
Hey PM1! I'm stuck at the spark, can't decide between Eliwood, Yune, and LAzura. I have quite a few dancers (the fairies + L!Ninian), so I might not need her? I'm hoping to support N!Laegjarn as a raidboss in SD, and it seems like Eliwood might be the best choice. Thoughts?
Yeah if you wanna use her as a Raid Boss then having L!Eliwood will help. If you care about AR-D then Yune is better.
@@Pheonixmaster1 oh boy, that makes it a difficult call. My AR-D situation has been horrible LOL. Can you recommend any good AR-D team building resources? I feel like I have a ton of good units, I just don't know what I'm doing when it comes to AR in general!
Thanks for the analysis. Yune was my first mythic and I love her refine. Definitely will test her in AR. PM1 got any suggestion to counter her? I was disappointed with H.Hector though. He was the first unit that I decided to take out my credit card and pay to get him. I have Hector at +5 and have been waiting for his refine. Now I might as well give him arcane éljúðnir or just use summer edelgard.... which is sad. I guess +7 debuff, healing, and 30% DR isn't bad.
I saw a Yune negate 100% of my attack, even though I had no visible debuffs. I refuse to believe it purposely counts debuffs that have been mitigated by buffs as total debuffs on the foe. If a unit has +10 and -5 to a stat and a skill that scaled off total buffs, the skill would grant +5, not +10. Why is this refine different?
All i wanted from this banner was just 2x LIke to +10 him and i end up with 3x LElis, 1x yune and a radom mia (30/40)

I've been running Miracle, Distant Storm, Vantage, At/Def Menace and Heavy Blade 3 for the longest time on Hector. Wondering if Arcane sword would be better. Been thinking about swaping out L!Azure with L!Ninian or Fallen Ninian since I run L!Eliwood, but not having L!Azure and Bonus Double might hurt.
I have a high merged Yune that has been just sitting there.
